People acts like Clottley is a crappy fighter.

Clottey is a good fighter, but he is a bad actor.

 

Most people disrespecting Cotto seem to be those who thought there was a huge gap in talent between the two.

 

No one is saying he's crap, just telling it like it is. He's a good fighter with not much speed, bad stamina, good chin, half decent power/skills. He's not terrible and not great.

 

clottey is a great fighter ia gree. but in the same token it shows you how exceleent cotto is. he beat him with one eye and persevered. he coulda easily said he couldnt see and went to the scorecared but octto is a warrior. hence mad props to both!

Clottey isn't good at all. What win did he show he was a world class fighter. His pathetic show against Margarito, not throwing because of a bruised knuckle. His weak performance over Judah.

 

Clottey is a great fighter, but Paul Williams did not duck him. Period.

GTFOH with that ****. Paul was like "Ok, I'ma slap the **** outta you." and HBO canned the fight . Know what you;re talking about before you accuse someone of ducking.

On the other hand, I agree that Clottey will be ducked even more from this point on.

Clottey was pretty good IMO, just not enough killer instinct I think. He already had the advantages but he didn't press them.

Williams never ducked him. Period. HBO didn't put up the funds for the fight.

Why would Mosley want to fight him when he can get PBF/Pac/Cotto and get more respect fighting them
