people alwas critisize wlad and floyd for being cautious and smart in the ring

    but excitment=stupidity alot of the time...was ortiz exciting last weekend???yes but he was stupid,stupid,stupid....id rather fight cautious rarely get hit and get the win than fight exciting get beat up then get critisized by the same fans after the fight....

    People hate the really successful ones man, it's just a fact of life. Many here are fans of violence rather than the true meaning of "hit and not get hit".

    spot on..jealousy is a *****..its like the more they win the more pathetic people critisize...they act like these are bar fighters..boxing is a science and if you respect the science you will have success..anyone can goin head first throwing punches..but it takes skills to hit an opponent at will and not get hit in the process

    hmm says... yeah I thought of that myself...pretty valid. Could be the level of competition but you can be exciting and cautious at the same time. You can be smart and still be exciting as well. At least improve the level of competition or mix up the way you fight. I believe it just boils down to style preference.

    I don't criticize Floyd because he's cautious in the ring, I criticize him because he's cautious outside it.

    Wlad cautious/smart ?

    Lennox Lewis was cautious and smart but he was more exciting than Wladimir.

    Pernell Whitaker was smart, again his fights were more entertaining than Mayweather's.

    funny thing with floyd is he moved up 5 divisions and gets critiszed on the fights he had in his 4th division....mitchel,judah,baldo,hatton...not bad at all...how many fighters have moved up 5 divisions and been the lineal champ in the 4th division..only a hand full

    lewis had a better chin than wlad..wlad knows his weaknesses..you cant knock him for fighting the style that suites him...whitaker was more exciting cause he showboated in the ring.....floyd is not boring at all..

    Look at the amount of hate Pac is getting now. Once you hit #1 P4P you're hated by all, that's nothing new. Look how RJJ was being criticized for ducking "most feared beasts" the media would randomly hype when he was #1, Hopkins had his share, Mayweather followed and now Pac.

    PBF ... smart, cautious yes, entertaining... not my cup of tea.
    Pacquiao.... smart, cautious, gutsy, entertaining....
    Yeah, expectations for the more successful athletes are high and easily succumb to criticism.
    Perhaps the saying "No guts no glory." holds valid in this argument.
