You can dress it up whichever way you please. The fact is Tszyu, Mosley, Williams, Cotto and Margarito were there to be fought.

you can't fight everyone, because if you do your 0 will go away. Floyd is just smart.

Floyd is also very cautious in the ring, but he does it with way more more entertainment and skill value than wlad.

Floyd actually throws his whole arsenal at his bigger opponent once he senses he has broken him down and sees an opportunity (uppercuts, hooks, body shots with bad intentions..you see them all), instead of continued jabbing and holding throughout the whole fight against a smaller opponent.

He also seems to have less of the panic attacks of wlad when an actual punch is thrown at him.

but you have to ask yourself, what is the real goal of these boxers?

    A) to be exciting and create interest for fans and make lots of PPV £££

    B) be clever and keep winning and make even more £££ thru PPV from well earned fights

You have to assess the fighter before you can critise there style

Who has Calderon in their avator ??

Every fighter has to make his way up but its what you do when you establish yourself, Mayweather has tried to avoid people and when he has fought a selected opponent he has been boring.

Cancer that drives Boxing fans to other Sports.

I not trying to take sides but this is the arguement i heard. at welterweight mayweather fought baldomir becasue.......the best welter weight out there was delahoya and the title went like this dela hoya > mosley > forest > mayorga > spinks > judah > baldomir > floyd.

so floyd whooped the linear dude in baldomir. also people have a problem saying floyd is fighting feather weights but then wouldnt mosley get critised for fighting floyd who too came from super feather, back when they "should have" met?

There is a difference between fighting Scared(Wlad) Boxing smart(Mayweather, Cotto). Wlad fights scared. He will not engage fighters at all. He is like a guy that throws a bomb then hides in the hole and waits to see if anyone comes in. Floyd is like a guy that throws a bomb runs to the other side and throws another, once he sees that nothing is coming back he moves in for the kill.

I dont think that Cotto did enough of what he did vs Clottey when he fought Margo, if he had he would have won the fight. That would have been smart, Cotto let what he thought people would think get int he way of him winning that fight. Wlad does what he does because he is scared to get hit, not because he dont want to get hit. Wlad is also 1/3 runner, 1/3 boxer, 1/3 hugger. Floyd dont hold and clinch, he makes fighters miss shots or he blocks alot, Wlad just runs to the other side of the ring or grabs the guy around the head.

:lol: i disagree but funny stuff.

wlad didnt run from chagaev? or brewster? or rahman? or austin? standing right in front of them the whole time? just was careful not to get caught...and it resulted in nearly flawless victory? wasnt compelling ONLY because other guys cant even land a shot.

Floyd fights smart. I find watchin somebody that skillful entertaining. Real boxing fans can appreciate his skill. Anyone can hit and get hit but it takes a master to hit and not get hit. He even lets people try to hit him but they cant. If u have been in a ring u will understand the importance of fightin smart. How many stupid mistakes has floyd made in a ring. NONE!

Yes floyd is more skilled, he's got good inside skills but he still choose to run in the ring even he does not afraid to get hit just looking like he is scared.

just **** off with your bs. Wlad is not scared more than Floyd. He fights cautious not scared.

Next your going to tell us that Wlad isnt a huggy bear:patsch

Look its like I said before, EVERYONE that isnt stuck between Wlads sack and butthole can see that the guy fights scared...Other fighters have even spoke about it.
