how can a laker fan be so delusional? :-(

Wlad held excessively in the Peter fight - FOUR years ago!

He uses a ton of movement to change angles and create the distance he wants to fight at. How is that fighting scared? He lands his punches and the other guy doesnt...

ita all depends on who he fights. Do any of you think hatton was a boring fight?

wlad is not even a fraction of the boxer that PBF is.

Some of PBF's opponents are better than Wlad ffs. PBF actually has craft. when has he ever outweighed an opponent by twenty pounds and enjoyed a height advantage of four inches?

people hate a winner....even though the heavyweight division is probably the worst ever in the history of boxing, wlad is doing what he is supposed to be doing, shutting people out ......i think his fights are boring and all that, but i respect him for being in great shape, all business and cares about the sport and his legacy

Lots of successfull fighters will be critisised and most of the time is driven by where ya from. I mean look at Joe Calzaghe and Ricky Hatton, a lot of ppl picked them to lose cos they wernt from the "right" side of the pond.

It's fine not to get hit but sometimes to much clinching and running is so damn boring.

Floyd is one of my favorite fighter.

He does have unfinished business at WW. His decision to fight Marquez was a true BS move.

Don't even put Floyd and Wlad in the same sentence.

Floyd has true skill, can fight outside or in the pocket, throws every punch in the book, can fight aggressive or on the backfoot... whereas the other guy has an arsenal of 2 punches and gets away with it only because of his size.

I agree. With a weak division like this, we expect an atg champion to wreak havoc and rip through the division in destructive/exciting/spectacular fashion. Instead we get a guy who fights cautious with scared moments and just rarely engages. It took the complaining of the whole boxing community (including Emanuel Steward during the Iggy fight) for Wlad to step it up for the Chagaev fight (which he marginally did). The whole boxing community is still urging him to do something more than jab, right cross and hold in this weak division where winning alone is not enough. I believe he has the talent for more, but just not the mentality and killer instinct.

It's a shame, because that will probably be the biggest difference in the legacy of say a Tyson and a Wlad (as he would've finished most of these guys in a much more shorter/destructive/exciting/spectacular fashion).

    Educate them Marc!
he gets away with it not because of his size, but also because the talentpool of the division is dry and does not have a fast puncher (like a Corrie Sander)
