Ortiz is a stupid head=case and Mayweather is an *******. In retrospect something like this happening was inevitable with these two and the inept Cortez all populating a ring together.

There's nothing too bad about a little cheating, so Ortiz using minor headbutts - illegal, but fine, I didn't notice on the first time of watching them. Using an Streefighter 2 flying headbutt, not fine, that's basically complete frustration

I'd disagree on Ortiz gameplan, I just don't think he had the skills to hang in there, when he came forward he'd miss countless punches and tire himself out

I agree. The minor headbutts are too much made of an issue. They're comparable to Floyd's forearm and elbow uses. The Streetfighter headbutt was stupid and excessive. A bad sign for Ortiz's mental state. We'll have to disagree on the Gatti situation.

I believe you PP, on the way to work I talked to a homeless guy this morning about the fight. He said that Ortiz should have protected himself at all times and too never have unprotected sex with a corpse. I couldn't argue.

The gloves are to protect your hands though not the opponents face, I'd hate to have a fight without wrapped hands and gloves

Then he comes to hug and actually KISS Floyd the man he's supposed to be in combat with. Then yet again he comes to hug his opponent. Then as they come to fight he tries to hug Mayweather again. These gestures could only mean 2 things, first maybe he's shocked at himself that he's completely lost control because or second that he's a broken man (read boy) that's trying to show a complete act of submission, asking for mercy, begging to be simply jabbed in the head rather than be in a fight and take a beating. Am I reading too much into this, Ortiz has quit before and he mentally broke down here.

Mayweather came to him angry wanting vengeance for such a cynical foul, he saw Ortiz showing and came for payback. Afterwards I really think Mayweather felt unsatisfied about the outcome. He was in the process of putting a masterful breakdown on Ortiz, a work of art, that was prematurely ended. For the fans, a premature orgasm.

I was disappointed in Mayweather, as a fan, I thought it was a sucker punch initially, I've watched it 12times since from different angles and aren't completely convinced on that. Mayweather has a history of hitting opponents who think they can pick their own timeouts (Gatti/Mosley) and I think it's a case of that. If Mayweather really did trick him, I don't completely blame him after that terrible headbutt. BTW I had a feeling there was going to be some controversy and maybe a DQ from the opening bell, not too far off

I remember my ex-wife was upset screaming 'stop it, stop it' when a contender was throwing haymaker after haymaker on an overmatched contender
