    Re-watch the fight.

Competitive? For a round or two, yeah. After that Donaire didn't have an answer for him (which he said) and then he starts getting walked down, hit with top shots and then gets KO'ed.

A beating doesn't have to be 36 minutes long.

Yeah, thats why I said 'USUALLY'.
The way donaire fights is different too floyd so that comparison is invalid.
Floyd is a mover and its like his first aim is not to let his face get a bruise.

Donaire moves and also engages toe to toe at times. so that comparison doesn't sway me to agreeing with your opinion.

a beating shouldn't be solely on because someone has a cut lol or looks like they have been 'mugged'.

Just watch it again, theres no way donaire took a beating in there.
    He just got out powered.

    No it isn't.

To you a beating is - what we were arguing over - is basically a one-sided, 36 minute long thrashing which leaves the other man in a coma - more or less.

    Donaire got a beating.

    Outpowered? Yeah, and the rest.

One of the greatest interviews after a fight. Ever

Both men deserve all the respect in the world.

The two were so sportsmanlike and gracious in both victory and defeat, I was reminded, along with a stadium full of real fight fans, of why it is I love boxers and this problematic but beautiful sport.

The end of one story and the beginning of another in the most binary of fashion,. A marvel to behold when it is done with class.

Walters made a lot of fans tonight, many if not most of whom came to see the Flash try to recover what was once spectacular but was not to be
