It was clearly not a low blow to the privates. The holding was nominal since Judah was the one putting his head down. The outcome of the fight would not change because Judah was looking for a way out. He can always file an official protest although he has no change of overturning the fight result. Engle has a much better chance for his low blow but he was also looking for a way out.

 

Funny how not a pundit, coach, fighter or journalist in the game agrees with you. People hit in a clinch ALL the time. They even hit around the back of the head when clinching and you get repeated warnings.

If it was a low blow or a blow from holding then the ref does not have to DQ the offender he can dock a point and give the hurt man time to recover.

Regardless it happens all the time. You're not supposed to put your jab out and hold someones face in line with it to tee off but loads of fighters throughout the years have done it.

Just saw the clip... looked to me like Khan was well in control of the fight and that punch was right on the belt line. I wanted to wait until I saw the clip before I passed judgement, but that Ko was legit. Khan is a hell of a body puncher... knocked Maidana down and almost out with a body punch too. Give the kid some credit. It wasn't a dirty punch...Zab was already crouched down but the punch was still right on the belt line.

 

Khan should be banned from the whole boxing world.

In addition he should have his hands chopped off and stoned to death

 

Been out of boxing for a while - didn't know Khan and Ariza are back together again.

Judah was lucky he bailed himself out or it could've been worse. The way he got beat by Khan's Jabs and power shots he would've been a bloody mess around the 10th and probably would sustain much much more damage...

 

man are you serious,khan was flat out beating zabs ass and he found the easy way out.even if the punch was low or even if khan was holding and hiting,get up and beat the guys ass this is boxing after all.khans holding was not excessive at all, i have seen many fighters get away with way more holding and punching than khan did,and another thing how can you say to dq a fighter when he wasnt even warned for punching and holding.bottom line ,khan was beating zabs ass and there was nothing zab could do so he took the easy way out.
