Chad is the man, Lacy isnt thats the big difference.

 

THe only thing similar between CHad and Jeff is the "HYPE". The difference is Jeff never did anything to deserve the Hype he gained. Most of which came from being an olympian. But Shieka and Reid are no where near the level of Tarver or Johnson. The Wins Chad has mean much, much more than any win Jeff has accomplished thus far.

Chad's hype was built on what he's shown in the ring. Adamek is a VERY good fighter. Not the best but very good and he dominated Adamek...Chad DOMINATED Tarver and he faught a closely contested 12 rounds with Johnson.

Jeff.....he lost to Joe...Beating Sheika or Ried means about nothing at this point of their careers and I never bought in to the Lacy Hype. I knew Joe would dismantle Jeff when they faught and he did just that.

For christ sake...the level of talen, style and careers are vastly different in comparing Jeff to Chad. Joe C's toughest test without a doubt at LHW is Chad Dawson...and vise versa....Bhop is a close 2nd in terms of difficulty for either man.

I wish Kessler felt the same, and was as confidnent that he is a pure hypejob - because we would get to see Kessler V Dawson. Sadly Kessler sees Dawson as a risk.

 

1st of all, there is no comparison between Dawson now and Lacy at any point of his career. any real boxing fan knows this.

2nd, there is a reason why Kellerman brought up Dawsons name to Calzaghe after he beat Jones. these people know where the real matchups are, just like when they brought up Cottos name to Mayweather after his last fight.


Dawson will be competitive against Calzaghe and def has the ability to beat him. thats why this fight should happen.

 

Who cares. Let's just get the fight on and see what happens? Dawson has already beat 2 champions at his weight and is the one who is willing to fight the other top dogs. So why not? He is clearly the #1 contender at 175.

Oh and Dawson is no Lacy and did not (and won't because of his style) get the level of hype Lacy did.

 

If you really think Dawson is a 'Lacy' type you need your head examined. You're comparing Tarver to Reid? Sheika to Johnson? Adamek to Vanderpool? You must be kidding.. And you say Calzaghe didn't beat Kessler with workrate, speed, and pressure?? He did. Obviously. Have you seen the fight?

 

Exactly. Who else is there for Calzaghe to fight? The boxing fans know this is the fight to be made if Calzaghe is to continue. Personally, I think Calzaghe beats him but we never know until the fight actually happens. Dawson is a young champion willing to take on the others, so why not?

 

Is this a ****ing joke? Did you just seriously compare Antonio Tarver, Glen Johnson and Tomasz Adamez to Robin Reid, Omar Sheika and Syd Vanderpool? You need to have your head examined.
