Well...as far as current rankings go Ortiz is ranked 3rd by the WBC and 5th by the Ring but doesn't make the top 15 in the WBA, WBO or IBF rankings, so it's fair to say his poition as a top 5 heavyweight is disputed.

 

Why? Well...you are aware each guy has a fight soon, right? Is there some time limit that they need to adhere to? Nope. So long as Wilder thinks he deserves 50-50, there's no point. Just wait until after Aj/Parker is done. Parker can throw a wrench in the whole kabaab.

 

"Consistency in various rankings" has never been 'consistent' when it comes to ABC rankings. Ring's are generally accepted as being the most realistic.

He doesnt have Povetkins scalp because they havent fought so thats like saying Joshua would have Wilders scalp if he didnt price himself out. Pointless.

Miller is a cheap way to build Joshua's profile stateside. Wilder would be a lot, lot more expensive an opponent considering his current demands for a Joshua fight.

As for the OP, yeah the guy who fought Parker, Takam, Klitschko, Breazeale and Martin and looked to unify three belts in half the number of time and fights Deontay took to even win a strap is the ducker of the two. Good one.
