    :lol::lol::lol::patsch

Utterly pathetic. So, he's supposed to just wait for the purse bid and do nothing in the meantime? :huh

Povetkin will get his ass taxed, don't worry boys. It's only a matter of time until Povetkin gets destroyed. I'm sure we can wait for that.

The Russian Billionaires according to some will pay upwards to 22-25 million for this fight, Wilder will get 75% of said money in a purse bid, making him a very rich man.

This situation was very similar to the Stiverne one. Stiverne was out with an injury and people were blaming Wilder for fighting Gavern (Staying busy). Sad. :-(

And eventually, Stiverne got that ass tapped. Povetkin's time will come!

No way he gets 75 percent.

Also, most people don't mind him staying active, it's the quality of opponent he'll probably choose and people thinking he'll chicken out of a Povetkin fight to begin with.

lol at me for even being in this thread.

Champion is entitled to 75% of the purse bid money, if you didn't know already. :hi:

Dustin 'Worm' Nichols has started training camp for the rematch. He expects to shatter Wilders glass again.

I don't blame him for staying busy. I just hope he doesn't try to pull some **** to get out of the Povetkin fight when it does come time.

He could also negotiate with Povetkin and not wait until purse bid.

Jason Gavern 26-20-4 (10 Ko's) was a stay busy fight just last year. **** all these "stay busy" fights vs cans.

Was Eric Molina a " stay busy" fight or were we suppose to believe that Molina was a top level HW challenger?

if he faces Thompson next, I won't bash him for staying busy, but fighting the Molinas of the world won't make him any new fans

No, they bash Wilder for the continuing record padding - record padding that constitutes his entire bogus career.

As stated - start talks with Povetkins people now get a head start....why can't they do that? In the meantime if this fight isn't on the cards till Povetkin has also had a tune up fight then fight someone who is at least a reasonable opponent. Don't pick a bum. I do think tho that money rules in this sport and so its always gonna be a pick a bum situation and lets not risk losing out on a big money fight vs Povetkin or down the line Wlad. They want to milk the title...watch n see what happens. Thing is on the way up he had lots of criticism for not stepping up. He's now a recognised world titlist....with the WBC belt he now needs to only be fighting world ranked guys from here on. Pick a bum and people will be right to criticise him. And his team will know it to!

It's by default 70/30 but it's not an obligation. It will most likely be modified for this fight and it will probably close to be 50/50.

2 years time and it will all be about Joshua.

Wilder will have probably got himself knocked out by an eastern European by then...

You're nuts if you think Povetkin will only get 25% against that fraud.
