I never even thought about that and was prepared to give Spence all due respect if he won. One fight doesn't make you past it or shot. Sure there are some exceptions, but it isn't the norm, unless you are already on the slide.

What's funny is that Kell JUST fought GGG, we have no idea how he is, he's had little time to recover. While Marg and Cotto both fought 1 and 2 guys respectively after their losses before the Pac fight.

On Cotto- Martinez, I don't give Cotto full credit either because of Martinez's knee. But I don't sit up here and make excuses about it. In ANY sport, you often compete once, if you aren't 100% and you lose, there's absolutely NO EXCUSES. You were the inferior fighter/team/athlete on the night and that's all that matters.

If Brook has ANY of the problems you mentioned, it's his responsibility to prepare and overcome and accept the result. As should we.
