Yes, Dubois did go billy goat crazy on Hrgovic and another ref may well have punished him for that. But that's one of the huge advantages of having home advantage and home country refs or in Dubois' case in that fight a home ref on neutral soil.

Guess what, Usky has literally never had a home country ref for any of his world title fights or fights at the world level and he's only had a combined 2 home judges for all 15 of those fights. Had he had a lot more do you think he would've 'lost' as many rounds as he has?

FTR, it's the norm in the US to have a home ref and three home judges for world title fights between a home and away fighter. The only country it happen in.

Andre Ward is literally one of the most dirty fighters I've ever seen. He didn't just billy goat the crap out of his opponent his entire game plan hinged on using every dirty trick in the book religiously and holding like an octopus

Isn't it also strange how certain fighters ''ruin'' opponents but you never hear the same said about certain other ones? Usyk could never ruin anyone and it's not what he's doing in the ring and what he's allowing his opponent to do or not do in the ring that is the reason why he wins fights it's what his opponents aren't doing. But there's no agenda against him or anything, other than the rules completely changing for him
