People don't generally believe Ward could beat a prime Calzaghe do they?

I would say "epic troll thread" but that would imply some sort of humorous, clever, or in some way witty nature about it.

To think that either couldn't possibly win is to be foolish.

Calzaghe is more active than anyone Ward has faced. Ward is a better defensive fighter and utilizes range better than anyone Calzaghe ever faced.

Prime for prime, it would be amazing to see who imposed their fight on the other. Both have shown it near impossible for their opponents to do that to them.

Ofcourse Ward couldnt beat Calzaghe. Would of been a decent fight, Ward is a very good boxer and would bring things to give Joe something to think about but he would think, work it out and win on points.

A clear victory, no shut out, no schooling but a comftable points win.

Because Froch did not earn his shot at Calzaghe. I'm a huge Cobra fan, but let's be real, before Carl became world champion he didn't have a win against a world class opponent. And Calzaghe were like top of the P4P rankings at that time, so it would not make sense for Joe to fight Froch.

Why do posters here keep on bringing that mental freak in Dawson up? Let me tell you a pretty known fact about Chad, he cannot handle aggressive pressure fighters. Styles makes fight and stylistically Calzaghe would be an absolute nightmare for Dawson.
