People don't generally believe Ward could beat a prime Calzaghe do they?

he is better at almost all those things except for throwing speed for powderpuff weak punches. joe is better at that without a doubt. to be fair, ward could probably do that, but choses to box properly.

Ward is smarter and hits harder too.

Their chins are about the same, but ward doesn't rely heavily on his like joe has to because ward has superior skills.

no one mentioned that joe has better stamina, so you could give the athletisicsm to joe too.

 

prime calzaghe was struggling with serial bums barely above national level for the least important crown unti he stepped up at age 34 vs Lacy and then Kessler (so arguably I guess mid30s is joes prime).


ward before his gap year haha was making dominant world class defences almost every fight for unified crown. He has won titles and defended them above and beyond what joe did at a similar age.
