Obama could;ve been cornering bradley when he fought a shot to pieces only showing up for a paycheck brandon rios. Lets get real now, how much can a new trainer change a 30+ year old fighter? Maybe a few new combinations. This fight will look no different than the first two.

We'll see...I don't think that Rios being shot precludes Atlas being an effective trainer for Bradley, either.

I think it makes a difference. It makes a difference if for no other reason Bradley believes. I agree Bradley looks better. Also have real doubts about the Pacquiao that will show up. His style of fighter can age pretty suddenly, combined with the injury does not bode well for a top notch performance.

It won't mean a damn thing, Pacquiao with one arm won 4 maybe 5 rounds off of Mayweather, he's not shot, Bradley will be KO'd.

I take exception at this sneaky, underhanded swipe at the US president's boxer-training capabilities.

I'm pretty sure you've never seen the POTUS in someone's corner, so how could you know anything about his technical or motivational skills in getting the W for his man ?

Which magical rounds were those extra 2,3 he "won" and throwing your "injured" arm as hard and fast as possible all the while being his dominant hand in that fight destroys your theory on par to the destroying of pcm, your theories went from borderline lunatic to needing a helmet asap

teddy atlas may not be the best predictor of fights in the sport, what is he now like 0-1100? but he is, i think, a solid trainer.

It will mean something. Nobody wants to admit it but it will. Atlas won't be bringing any advice or boxing knowledge Bradley doesn't already know to the table. In fact, Atlas himself doesn't bring anything to the team except a change in atmosphere. Atlas was exactly what Bradley needed. A shift in his thought process. Something he could use as a crutch. A guy in the business well respected that tells Bradley to do what everyone else has been telling him his entire career. The difference is that this man is above every person before him on the boxing hierarchy. It's because of that that Bradley will listen this time. He will listen to his corner to calm down and box like he's supposed to. Bradley will no longer let his emotions take control and let the fight become a sloppy d tier slug fest like before and it's all thanks to Teddy.

Look what Atlas did for Grant. Is Atlas pickiing Bradley to win? If so, it appears to be bad luck.......................

Win or lose, Atlas will leave his mark on the fight. Bradley is fighting differently. The changes are subtle but important. They're mostly tactical, aside from corrections in his balance and punching form (no more winging shots with his head swinging all over the place). Bradley is the same fighter, but he has different priorities, and is making different choices. Jabbing more, using more angles, being tighter on the inside, etc.

I don't think he will drastically change Bradley and the win over Rios may be flattering them somewhat. There are slight changes though that have developed Bradley. I quite like Atlas and I don't think he is a particularly bas person to have in the corner. The fight with Pac will be tough and maybe Atlas is the right person to push Bradley.
