I didn't think there was an unofficial weigh-in for that fight. I'm probably wrong as this is the second time I've seen that number quoted today. Do you have a source?

I'm sure Cotto outweighed floyd by quite a bit in their fight, Floyd chose to fight at 154 even though he's not the biggest guy at the weight, yeah the Canelo thing was a joke but we're talking Cotto here. He can always leave the belt if he wants to cry and complain that the fans take issue with his diva antics.

:huh That's the most unofficial, "unofficial fight night weight" I've ever seen.

Nobody is forcing Cotto to fight at Middleweight. If he thinks he's too small for the division fight at 154. It's become clear this isn't just for the Geale fight. Any Cotto fight will not be allowed to be contested at the 160 weight limit.

I hope Geale comes in at 160 and forces their hand. The WBC has already said it isn't a problem. There is no financial penalty supposedly in the contract. Unless Roc Nation or Cotto have a backup opponent planned who is approved by HBO, I don't see them canceling the fight.

Yea, or even 158-159 if that last pound is so difficult to drop. Will Team Cotto force a cancellation off of a couple pounds? Cotto would be crucified in public square.

As already said Geale could come in over weight and will not be fined, then Cotto either cancels the fight or gets a replacement...

Or fights an "overweight" Geale and looks a total fool.

I can't wait for the weigh in  will be more entertaining than the fight.
