Frazier turned pro in 1965 and won his first 30 fights, 25 by KO. He won the vacant NYSAC HW World Title in 1968 with a win over Mathis, the WBA World Title from Ellis in 1970, and in 1971 he beat Ali to leave no doubt about who the HW World Champ was. During this stretch he went 10-0 (8KO) in HW World Title Fights. Among others, he beat Bonavena x2, Machen, Doug Jones, Chuvalo, Buster Mathis, Quarry x2, Ellis x2, Foster, Ali (1 out of 3), and Bugner.

He did not lose until 1973 at the age of 29 (LKOby2 George Foreman). After Foreman he went just 2-3-1 (2) including a 2nd loss to Foreman and 2 losses to Ali.

At 5'11 1/2", a 73" reach, and 205-210 solid Lbs... how would Frazier do in todays HW division?

I know. I was just messin. Although I do wish we could clone him in his prime and send him out to war right now in the heavyweight division. Body punching and stamina are a lost art. Frazier would bring so much to the game.

Frazier was a great heavyweight. An overachiever in the most heroic sense. Rendered every single shortcoming moot with conditioning, toughness, and the divisions best steely drive right behind Ali and Marciano.

This man boxed to his advantages with the discipline of a Navy SEAL and allowed his will to win to make all the rest meaningless. A true champion.

ogh shii....i forgot this is the classic forum, what i mean is........Frazier wipes his boots with both Klits inside of 3 rounds and reigns as undisputed HW before retiring at the modest age of 56, without losing a single round in his 30 years old career.

..may His Royal Highness SNV accept my humble apology for even daring to think that a chubby short arse 200lbs HW with limited weapons could even break a sweat against a 6.ft 7 giant who can box.

Joe Frazier is highly underrated these days, especially by many on this forum. When you consider all he achieved and add in the fact he fought since 1966 blind in one eye, it is incredible. Instead many continue to refer to him as some sort of one armed, grotesque, soft chinned creature ... in reality he was one of the very best pound for pound heavyweights that ever lived and a top ten all time great without question ...

His chin was excellent, he had a dangerous right which he often used in combination punching, the power in his left hook was terrific, his stamina and strength terrific and proven against much bigger, stronger , young fighters in their own prime and his heart as big as any fighter that ever lived ..

Nobody in the current crop of heavyweights would even rival Joe,let alone beat him. It took a ring genius like Muhammad Ali to outbox him,and a wrecking ball such as George Foreman to knock him out.

FOTC Frazier is the HW equivalent of Montreal Duran. Peak SSJ1 Frazier was the Prince of all Saiyans. That'd make Foreman the Legendary Super Saiyan, who had his number at the time. But overall Vegeta is the greater character, and somehow managed to follow Ali thorugh SSJ2 to SSJ4, matching him everytime

It did. Goku always possessed a natural ability to surpass anyone(much like Ali). Vegeta had to train relentlessly just to keep up, he was always in the shadow of Goku. Goku had many, many allies and loved ones helping him along the way. Vegeta had the whole world against him and did it solo. Goku's natural ability saw him conquer monsters that Vegeta had failed to conquer. But when it came to the crunch, Vegeta was always a match for Goku.
