That is so funny about Steward, after watching the fight yestery my fiancee was asking is Steward a good trainer because lately all his fighters been loosing.
Margarito cant handle slick fighters am i lying? wasnt that proved to us all? and Cintron gets manny steward pays him alot money and stewart can only get him to last 1 more round?!?!? trains the kid for 3 years and he can only last one more round with a guy who had just lost a fight to paul williams in that fight it showed MOVE stick and MOVE and what was manny telling him "dont take a step bacK" you got to be kidding me
Williams isn't that slick. He beat Margarito because Margo started way too late. He gave Williams those early rounds. Williams was close to folding late in that fight despite Margo starting later than usual. Rematch Margo whoops him.
And Margarito had something to prove last night and it was a MUST WIN fight for him...He took Williams lightly IMHO.
I haven't forgotten about it. I've always said you beat Margo if you can one take a punch. Two can counter punch. Three have good movement. Margo looks like a world beater when he fights soft chinned guys who stand in front of him and can't counter him. That's the reason why Williams beat him and why Cotto or PBF will beat him in the future.:deal When PBF or Cotto fight him I expect him to get a boxing lesson and made to look slow and clumsy in the ring.
I know Williams beat him descisively, but I believe if Margo would have started against williams like he did vs. Johnson and Cintron, he would have knocked williams out. He just didnt have the desire I think. I think in a rematch Margarito stops williams in the later rounds.
