Wow. This only adds insult to injury seeing as Dawson was the lineal LHW champion and was coming off of the Hopkins win...

If your dumbass calls ME out at MY weight, why the hell would I then give you the fight at a catch weight after you already ran your c*ck sucker? Trolls need to think before you type.

    Exactly how I see it...

His team straight up screwed him. Chad should've known better, but that's also why he was paying professionals to handle that side of it.

It's a painful lesson for boxers to learn...my hat goes off to the guys like Hopkins, Mayweather, and the Klitschkos who realize that, like it or not, you need to learn the business side of the sport to safeguard yourself. Ward does a great job of that too and I think he'll never get suckered into a deal that bad- I just don't trust James Prince.

Well, you're applauding Ward being completely shrewd and inflexible at the negotiating table while condemning GGG for not accepting a 50/50 fight at 168 for his first time ever against #2 p4p Ward when he had a PPV unification bout lined up and he is the mandatory for Cotto-Canelo (and Ward has been practically non-existent for the past three years).

GGG was willing to fight Froch and JCC Jr for a one off fight at 168 much like Ward is willing to fight Alexander Brand in a fight at 175 but not willing to fight Kovalev before having two more fights at LHW.

There was never serious talk of a fight between Ward and GG at 164.

What's a one off fight? Just stfu. He was willing to fight joke JCC Jr and old Froch at 168, but not Ward. A lot of fighters have not taken a get used to weight fight and won a weight class or two above their fighting weight. Ward is choosing to get used to 175. Big difference.

GG is so great so say his fans and he can't get big fights at 160...and is offered 50/50 at 168 by Ward-one off fight lol, and what happened? Oh, a counter offer of 164 was Ward being shrewd and inflexible. Foh.

He never wanted to fight Ward-at least when Ward mentioned a possible fight. He didn't have to. That isn't a duck since he's waiting on a unification fight. GG didn't have to fight Ward. But his fans didn't want Ward to get away with saying GG ducked him so they blew up Ward has no fans, he ducked Bute and is now ducking Degale-just stfu.

He can't explain lol. He tried though lol.

The easy answer was GG in't thinking about Ward right now he has unfinished business at 160. But they don't want GG to have that wrap that he ducked Ward who called him out. So they said Ward has no fan base, and GG's ppv failed.

But fighting Dawson at 175 would have been for the LHW belts. Shows you that Ward's priority was to weaken Dawson instead of making the step up to 175. I think Ward a bit of a confidence problem. The demands he makes indicate that.

That's crazy stupid. And looks like Prince threw Dawson under the bus and royally screwed him.

Ward didn't "drain" anybody. Dawson volunteered to move down in weight, not out of the goodness of his heart, but TO WIN A SECOND TITLE.

Is was his idea, not Ward's.

I think Dawson was pretty dumb at making the right decisions for his career. Couple that with with James Prince and it was disaster.

Ward isn't much better with the situation he got into with his former promoter but Dawson willing to go to 168 is brave but stupid.

Ward is a coward, if he really wants to be great why not fight someone in the top 3 at the next weight up in the first fight. Instead he fights some random unranked SMW to gith at the higher weight.

Pac moved up to fight Cotto, Margachito ODLH, Hatton. Roy moved up to fight Toney. Calzaghe moved up to fight Hopkins. Sergio moved up to fight Pavlik. Mosley moved up to fight Winky Wright

Please STOP with this BS. Dawson called Ward out @ 168lbs then proceeded to sign a contract for a SMW fight. These are the FACTS.

Condemned the Triple Duck? I did no such thing. I merely asked a question; Why is 168 ok for Baby Chavez and Froch but not for Ward? Would you care to answer that question?
