people are getting a little carried away but he is extremely exciting but let's see him step up the comp and we will see
Whats up bronx? I felt like I was watching Trinidad beat up joppy last night the way Golo was walking him down and beating the hell out of Proska. :good
yeah but the Bute hate he was getting was undeserved. beating Andrade, Johnson, Miranda, Bika, etc. were all good wins and he wasn't even invited into the Super 8 but ****ing Jermain Taylor was :-(
Except Joppy was a very good world class middleweight and Proska was a prospect with a L on his record to some journeymen with 1 KO.
what up bro! yeah that Golovkin KID can punch I was thinking to myself somebody should check them hand wraps last night.....just saying lol
Wrong. If Mayweather doesn't fight somebody, he either Gatti's or Baldomir's them. I remember a lot of Mayweather fans saying Cotto would get Gatti'd, only to see Mayweather grind out a tough decision and lose 3-4 rounds. Ironically, if Mayweather had never fought Cotto, his fans would be saying he'd rip his paper face to shreds and stop him inside of 9 rounds. As for Golovkin, I think the likes of Ward/Dawson are too big and too long for him, but I think he's extremely dangerous for anybody from 154 to 160. Yes that includes Martinez and Mayweather, the former because he's getting old and could slow down at any time (that, and his hands-low stance is asking for trouble against the timing and power of Golovkin), the latter because he'd be a lot smaller, and because Golovkin can cut the ring off well, has solid timing and accuracy, and because Mayweather himself doesn't move around as much anymore. He's much more stationary now than he was from 130-140, and against someone of Golovkin's power, punch placement, and timing, that would be catastrophic. I actually think Chavez would be a tougher matchup than Martinez for Golovkin at 160, just because of Jr's size and because Golovkin himself isn't a big middleweight.
