Lets Put Everything In Perspective Real Quick...

aa's win over jt was great and all.... but jt should have been retired since the froch fight (i said this a LONG time ago)

bute was going to beat andrade's ass regardless... he woudl have won the last fight if he didnt gas out in the 12th round... all he had to do was come in with better conditioning.... which he did

ward's win over kessler is being over hyped.... what did kessler every do to be deemed the king of 168 (as i said all along) yeah he had the belt... but skill wise he really hadnt proven **** besides taking calzaghe to the thresh-hold..

that is all.... i can't wait for the 2nd round of the super 6 to see if everyone is the hype that we think they are...

dirrell will have the chance to prove that he is either really amatuer or really as good as his skills allow him to be

aa will have the chance to cash in against a live opponent

    ward will beat jt close....

jt will get the chance to prove he can lose without being knocked out

kessler will have a chance to prove he is as good as we THOUGHT he was

froch has the chance to knock someone out...

    lets go!

Kessler couldn't really have done much more @ SMW.
AA & Ward both look impressive but beatable to me.
I've rated Bute for years but he's also beatable but the best SMW right now IMO

ESB is fickle. Its mostly because alot of posters cant predict a fight for ****, so when something happening like Manny dominating Cotto(I had Pacquiao scrapping Cotto in 5) they act all surprised like its amazing that it happened. Either because they really are dense or because they want to hide their own lack of prediction making skills.

Ward vs Kessler and Bute vs Andrade were incredibly easy fights to call.

So you predicted that Bute would stop Andrade early, and that Ward would shut Kessler out?

I suppose you picked Douglas over Tyson as well.

Yep, I picked Ward to beat Kessler easy. Want me to bump the thread? As for Bute vs Andrade. I've been calling Andrade a walking punching bag since day one and pointed out he has to block punches with his face because his arms get numb. Bute dominated him in the first fight. KO;ing him the 2nd time is a little suprising, but not anything that couldnt have happened when a fighter has absolutely no defense partly because of an arm disorder.

Kessler beat Beyer, Andrade, Mundine, then didnt take a beatdown of Jeff Lacy proportions vs Calzaghe for this he was considered the #1 guy.

Bute gets KTFO va Andrade after being ahead in the 12th the first fight. Then comes backs and beats Andrade a guy who is easy to hit and slow and whose one redeeming quality is he takes a good punch in the second fight.

does this somehow propel you to Carlos Monzon or Marvin Hagler proportions No, or Michael Spinks or Evander Holyfield proportions

168 is really a bull**** division a refuge for guys not good enough to be middle weights or with sufficient balls to be Lightheavies.

And we have a winner! Like I said last night Bute victory over the punching bag was incredible. Maybe he'll fight Sartisan and we'll really be wowed by his skills.

I come on ESB to learn and discuss about boxing but when I read comments like yours, I got to say to myself that it's not everyone that understand that sport the way they should... Please, stop being a hater. If the supermiddleweight division sucks like you say, there's no good division in boxing (exception made for the welterweight). Point blank. Please think before you write something...:patsch

I was gonna say, half the light heavyweight champions are guys who couldn't get a belt at 168.
