Alexander-Bradley was more entertaining than Lara tonight and Rigo's last two fights and that's being honest. Rigo is a top P4P fighter but watchable he is not atleast Mayweather actually fights Rigo from rd 1-12 looks like the championship rds in a shutout throwing 1 or 2 punches and staying away I don't say fighters run but there only so much you can take
I watched the rigo fight over the Judah fight Can't blame a skilled fighter if others are rubbish in comparison
Ronnie Shields claims that Rigo hits like a heavyweight. Agbeko must have a chin like a heavyweight or Rigo is coasting bigtime. It is a fighter's obligation to be courageous. If he chooses the route less traveled than he deserves whatever negative feedback and career obstacles that come along with such a conscious decision.
There's a huge fundamental difference: Floyd wants to be popular and famous, Rigo really doesn't care. Floyd knows he had to market a persona to compensate for anyone who'd ***** about his in-ring style that would still draw fans and haters alike, and he's actively built that persona. Rigo, from a network perspective, is the exact opposite. He's network poison. You've got a guy who's on record as saying he won't adjust his style. He won't learn English. And he won't do anything out of the ring to sell himself- he puts all that on the promoter. I do think Rigo should get network support because he's that good, but let's be honest- he's not helping his own cause to be more popular because he just doesn't care about becoming more popular. Floyd does.
