Thing with Pacman he's a true A level fighter (like Morales was) where Maidana is a top contender. Morales is good enough to compete on this level (because he is a warrior and a G) but he could never reach the heights of his prime years.

He was 12 round all action fighter, he doesn't fight in spurts like he did last night, you never saw glimmers of brilliance he was brilliant throughout the 12 rounds.

Morales can never compete against the upper echelon of todays fighters but he'd die trying. Just to put the fight into perspective. Great performance on the night which enhances Morales as a fighter but doesn't change my view on past fights.

He was shot, get over it and stop having an agenda. Pacman is a great fighter and he's resume doesn't need manipulating.

the problem is that every time someone brings up Morales, people are quick to take credit away from Pacquiao. It's true that Morales is a great fighter, and it's a certified fact that Pacquiao knocked him out twice in their trilogy.

Pac > Morales. The sooner the Morales fans acknowledge that Pacquiao is better than Morales, the sooner all this **** will stop and it won't be necessary to talk about Pac every time Morales is at the center of attention.

Pacman gets credit for his first victory over him. Regardless whether is was a prime/post prime it was a game morales who was doing well in the first 6.

    3rd fight, shot to pieces.

Morales was the underdog in the 1st pacquiao fight..pac was SUPPOSED to win..and even when he did beat erik, Morales was winning in all 3 judges scorecards up into the 6th where he gassed and lost the fight the remaining rounds..

Look kid youre just a shitty poster, u need to pac's dick away from your mouth understand? something that im sure u cant handle not doing..

Thanks, it's just frustrating to see, so many hidden agenda's. Instead of praising he's performance people are twisting it to benefit their favourite fighter.

And they call themselves boxing fans.

who cares if Pac was supposed to win or not. Oscar and Barrera were supposed to win against Pac. And Morales was supposed to win against Barrera in the third fight. the odds don't mean ****, all that matters is what goes down in the ring, which is :

    MORALES UD12 PACQUIAO
    PACQUIAO TKO10 MORALES
    PACQUIAO KO3 MORALES

this post is so objective and reasonable that it restores my faith in the forum people are getting carried away with what happened last night Morales was a great fighter you can see glimpses of it still today but he is shot and no longer has the sustained brilliance of his days at the top.
    People need to calm down.
