People not factoring in defense while scoring invalidates their cards completely.

This post is how I know people are ignorant m. Ward outlanded your boy in jabs in the first fight. The jab was the only punch Kovalev was throwing for the majority of the fight. G although busier than Canelo was not the more effective fighter who landed the most effective punches. If you think otherwise, what happened to G’s power and body punches. Similarly, Kovalev got out worked to the body himself barely going to the body at all.

You screwed the minute you said “the effective aggressors were robbed”. Go rewatch those fights, incorporate defense which is a scoring criteria and give us your new scores. If you’re missing and your opponent is the cause of that, he scores over the aggressors ineffective aggression.

Bs. MVC is right. You guys don’t factor in defense. It’s funny how Kovalev and G were both pressure jabbers who barely went to the body. And yes, Ward did Outland Kov in jabs according to compubox. If you watch the fight, after round 2, how many more power punches do you really see Kov land like the right hand.

There’s dumb masses logic to scoring a fight which is fighter A was going forward and threw more and there’s the real world way of scoring the fight which is you don’t score ineffective aggression and you actually score defense which is a scoring criteria.

It's ok to have an opinion on how you think fights should be judged but don't try and tell us that this is how it's done. Fights are scored on effective punches landed with the knuckle part of the glove in the scoring area. If you can't separate them on punches landed then the other criteria is used. Defense is the last of those criteria used.

 

MVC, if you're serious about proving your point about defense, simply quote the specific rd in the specific fight you scored differently than the masses.

I see and agree with your point (to a extent), you dont need to show a entire fight full of examples dude, just show the most obvious one so everyone can see exactly what you're talking about.
