First of all I have to say I like both fighters. Froch Is 37 and since he beat the former world Champion Robin Reid in 2007 every fight has been a world title fight with many wars and has earned lots of respect. Now a very exciting GGG who is 33 so no spring chicken has hardly any big names on his record. I would love to see them fight and GGG may win but his record is not in Froch's league. This is not a troll thread as I say I like both but just an observation.

I think over the past 10 years you could say Froch has the best resume in world boxing?

If Froch beat GGG people would say GGG was obviously a hype job who adds nothing to Frochs resume. If you don't believe that look at how people treat Bute after Froch took his soul.

Froch does have the better resume, but Golovkin is a better boxer, puncher, and has much better footwork. He also gets hit less and has a better chin. I wouldn't give Froch much of a chance, especially since they walk around at the same weight.

Better chin???????????????????? Froch's chin is granite. He may of been down but know one knocks him out.

He gets hit less because his opposition is not on the level of Frochs and still he gets hit too much against those opponents!

How can you say he has a better chin when he hasn't faced anyone that hits as hard as a strong SMW?

Exactly they walk around at the same weight and fight around the same weight yet Froch is facing the better, stronger, harder punchers, at SMW. Froch and GGGs resume are night and day and both have been pro for about the same amount of time but Frochs resume ****s all over GGGs.

Froch may be limited or looks limited but he finds a way to win the only loss he hasn't avenged is Ward and Wards a damn good boxer.

Triple G is an elite, modern fighter. Froch is a neanderthal, perhaps the best of them but still....

Folks who rate Golovkin over Froch P4P are fools, that's all. You don't take the opinion of a fool too seriously.

a fighters resume is not any way to gauge ones ability.
I have seen trip G in with enough world class opponents to have every question answered, the same for froch, every question had been answered.

these 2 fighters are not remotely close to the same level of talent, there is NOTHING froch can do that comes remotely close to every single thing trip G does so many levels better.

to me, these fighters being mentioned together is just crazy, I like it because I would love to see froch destroyed in 3,4 rounds by trip G. no where near the chin to hang with trip G, forget about the skills disparity , I mean froch would be a sitting duck and froch has never beat ANYONE better than fighters trip G walked through with no problems.

here it is, Chavez jr beats fanfare, (could be a tough fight but I think jr is training for real, his daughter changed him for the better).

he gets by fanfare, I think he will and then froch will be looking for the big ppv fight, Chavez will beat the ever living sh!t out of froch in a fun looking fun. but frochs gets tko'd before round the end, might be between rounds 9-12 but he is going down for sure. it will look good but wont be a close fight. jr will really mop the ring with froch.

then trip G vs Jr will match up and I hate this because Jr is way too tough and will take a ferocious beating for the whole fight, he will be the first to give trip G a legit battle but will fall in the end to trip G. for Jr sake would hope he gets caught early by and type of shot, head body and he gets stopped. the beating he could absorb could be career ending for Jr.

Jr has proven to be the toughest dude in all of boxing. I've seen an out of shape Jr take clean bombs nonstop and never seen him legitimately close to hurt.

jr will retire froch then trip G and Jr will be dangerous for both really
