People really need to stop with this quick stoppage, bad stoppage BS

Nah. Sometimes it takes a guy 10+ shots to hit the canvas. If he isnt responding defensively or offensively and is a sitting duck, it has to be stopped whether he is down or not.

 

I can't believe a reasonable person would complain about that stoppage. It was perfectly timed.

 

Lee didn't complain, neither did Manny Stewart, so that tells ya it was a good stoppage. Lee was up against the ropes out of it and about to take some serious bombs, good thing the ref stopped it.

 

Some asswipe said the bute stoppage was a lil fast too... guess they wanted to see this....

You could've made a case for Lee vs mora 1....

 

Lee was out on his feet and was about to be put down brutally...:!:

 

Bad stoppage? No. Lee was on his way of getting knocked out. Chavez walked through everything and was starting to hurt Lee a couple rounds prior to the stoppage. It was evident. A tad premature maybe? I think so, I mean let him get knocked down and then stop it. Wouldn't have changed much, it's just more exciting and as far as the winner you're taking away the chance of him getting a more spectacular KO. I'm just a bit tired of seeing guys being stopped on their feet.

Yea this is a good point. I'm not really arguing about it, maybe I would have let another couple punches before I stopped it if I was the ref. Maybe not.
