Crawford at his best, definitely. Taylor looks on course to achieve far more by the time both have retired though. And if they were to fight right now? Josh has been active and cleaning out the cream of his division, Bud has been fighting infrequently and not under much threat - it's not unfair to say that Taylor is going to be sharp and Bud a touch rusty where a threatening fight is concerned. On paper it's Bud all day, but throw in current circumstances and it becomes around a 50/50 IMHO.
Typical response, “what about Crawford doe?”. Tank and Taylor now fight in the same division, not welterweight. Tank wears a paper belt of a fake champion so it’s reasonable to speculate about his chances versus another guy at his current weight. This “what about Crawford” BS is typical. Crawford is a bigger guy, fighting at a higher weight. When we talk about Crawford I don’t see anyone saying “what about Canelo” or nonsense about heavier bigger guys. It’s bad enough so many fighters like Tank (extreme example) refuse to fight top guys at their own weight. Taylor is different, he fights all top guys at his weight and is undefeated. His record is not a carefully constructed series of cherry picks and weight manipulation. If Tank wants the fight with Taylor, I’m sure the true champion at 140 will be happy to give the little guy a brutal beating. I don’t see it happening because Tank will cowardly avoid Taylor (and all other top 140 pounders) like he avoided all the top guys at 135 and the top guys at 130. He’s at 140 these days, picking up where he left off, avoiding all the top guys at the weight. It’s what he does. His moron fans are satisfied seeing little Tank knock out no-hopers and talk trash about legit fighters when they should be asking themselves why their little hero is afraid to face a legit opponent at his own weight. Taylor will fight at WW eventually and I’m sure he will fight any top guy who will fight him. Crawford needs to fight Spence at some point, the other best guy in his division (assuming Spence gets by Manny). Boxing fans should appreciate guys like Taylor, they are getting rare these days. Guys like Tank…not so much.
maybe a very slim punchers chance. well timed counter or well placed body shot could possibly do the trick. I think Taylor is just too big and too good for Davis at this stage
All those fighters you mentioned are assholes , over rated or Gayweather copies. So no I don’t like them. You must have missed my post where I gave mad love to Regis Prograis, a black fighter. Why? Because Regis is the real deal, fight anyone, not afraid to take a loss kind of fighter that I love. I also loved Toney, Hopkins, Jones jr., etc.. Have you EVER given a white fighter a fair shake or said 1 positive thing about a white fighter?
Gayweather copies? You sound like a bitter hating troll. Pbf was the best fighter of his era he dominated damn near every fighter he got into the ring with and he moved through 5 weights while doing it. All those fighters aren't assholes nor or they overrated only 2 of them are even ranked in the top 10 p4p you're just a blind hater with some more underlying issues here. Prograis has fought one guy in Taylor. You only like prograis because he lost to Taylor, I like Regis but his resume isn't great. Crawford has a better resume so does Spence so does jermell charlo. Shakur and Haney still have alot of time left. Davis needs to move back down to 135 and fight the name fighters there. I have given several white fighters their due. I'm a fury fan I like plant loma chenko Taylor and usyk. All I see you doing is hating on black fighters here and trolling.
Arguably the best post on the thread. Honestly, Davis is beginning to grow on me. The Barrios fight demonstrated, at least to my satisfaction, that the kid is no frontrunner, can bite down on his gum shield when faced with a bit of adversity, and has the ability to close the show late after ten rounds of pitched battle against a worthy opponent. That said, Taylor's height, length and P4P=type skill set would create a match-up nightmare for Davis. I see the talented Scott pounding out a comfortable 116-112 type of decision. Moreover, some of the posters speak only in terms of Tank's power. Have we forgotten that Taylor has dropped or hurt virtually every top flight 140lber he has faced??
Tank is not enough lucrative for Loma. Looks that he needs some legit belt holders at 130 lbs or 135 lbs to fight with.
Don't see him beating Taylor or Prograis - but I can see him beating Ramirez. That's a 50-50 type fight that Tank has a good chance of winning.
In light of the sheer entertainment value of them, I feel as though I should be sitting in a recliner eating popcorn whenever I read your sh*t talking posts.
You ain't gotta lie on Crawford to get your point across, Crawford would tear his ass up in a heartbeat.
Its interesting that robert garcia would pick tank to ko Josh Taylor in his podcast, especially since he knows Taylor having prepped Jose Ramirez before the fight. If he had ulterior motives, he would be hyping Taylor right now because that would make his fighter, Ramirez, look good. I do not necessarily agree with Garcia's prediction and frankly disagree with it but there are very valid reasons why tank can win the fight
