He was slowly breaking Cunningham down at that point. Plus Fury is so much bigger than cunningham. Marking up Wlad's face juat shows that he could connect unlike a lot of Wlad's other opponents.

Fury can hit a bit, but he needs to sit down on his punches more and turn his body into the shots more. He is a bit arm punchy at times.

Furys got a 70% KO ratio. He might not be a massive puncher. But he's definitely not a weak one either.

He has power but he's more of a boxer puncher than he is a pure power puncher. When he commits to his punches, he's definitely hurting his opponent.

Cunningham is a light heavyweight that has some skills but overall is very limited with little power at heavyweight. The only reason he was even Ko'd is a stamina issue. He was simply too small to deal with a 250+lbs man laying on him all night.

And it took the 6'9 250 man 7 rounds to wear an overblow light heavyweight out then had to use a forearm check then punch to knock him down. Thats not power guys, thats simply wearing a smaller opponent down. Fury has **** poor power.

Fury threw a giant **** poor technique left hook flush on Wlad's face and Wladimir didn't even flinch and that was late in the fight! If he can't even hurt Wladimir then he is feather fisted

It's funny how Cunningham keeps shrinking.

He used to be bigger than many classical heavyweights. Now, he's three posts away from being Paul Williams.

Anybody that size can knock someone out with one punch but Fury doesn't have a lot of power for a guy his size or for an elite HW.

he has some accumilation power, but certainly no 1 punch KO power.

One punch ko power is something completely different.

Wlad has it (or maybe had)
    Joshi has it
    Wilder has it
    Mansour has it
Price has it (but can't take it)
    Povetkin has it
    Parker has it
Ortiz has it (clearly juice enhanced)
    Helenius has it

    Hahaha!

Yeah Haye only weighed 3lb heavier when he lost to Wlad!

Fury doesnt waste energy loading up on shots. Hes acurate and can put punches together nocely because of it. He also has a nice left to the ribs thats dropped and stopped a few opponents. How many other heavies have stoppage wins from body shots?

Mansour has it? Yet he lost a decision to Cunningham but Tyson KO'd him!!:patsch

Also, Parker aint that big of a puncher judging by the Minto fight, unless you just forgot to add Whyte in there?

Having one punch ko power doesn't mean you'll win! You'd have to LAND it first! Have you even followed boxing?! :patsch
Parker has multiple 1 punch KO's to his name...
And with Whyte, I'm not going to name every single name out there who has it. Those are the biggest names. Briggs isn't in there either.

I think his punching technique is a little sloppy, very much arm punches, he could be a much harder hitter from what I've seen. But he's happy to box opponents and move and that often results in the KOs late on anyway.

Wlad's facial injuries were mostly from head collisions etc from what I recall.

Wow, seriously - people in here have to stop using old fights out of context to compare a fighter NOW. I have been guilty of it myself, I watched Steve Cunningham vs Fury and from that performance I gave Fury little chance against Klitschko - someone rightly pointed out to me that Fury has probably come a long way since then and I further investigated and reviewing my thoughts, though clearly still underestimated Fury.

Same goes for Minto - Parker has done a LOT of growing physically and technically since that fight, and that fight was meant to be showcasing his boxing skills against a fast technical fighter and he outboxed Minto without going for big power shots. It's evidence that even a much more green Parker can earn points and fight cleanly despite the fact that most of his recent wins are from one punch KOs in the first 3 rounds :)

The fact that he is proven to be an effective boxer, can go full rounds and still be fresh and also has 1 punch KO are all part of why he's one to watch.
