If he does lose his '0' to Marquez it could be said that will prevent him from 'Cherry picking' opponents? Floyd always brings up potential opponents defeats as an excuse as not fighting them, which kind of makes me wonder why he came back.

People say if Floyd gets through Marquez he will fight the winner of Cotto vs Pac but I can't see it happening.

i think if he still has the "0" then it would make a profitable fight if pac wins......the runaway freight train VS the immoveable object...it can make a good fight......besides i dont want him to fight cotto.....cotto still has work to do

But Floyd will never agree on how to split the purse.

I feel a rubbermatch, now that Juan and Manny's stars have blown up, is much better for boxing. For hardcore fans it will be ultimate resolution at long last, and for casual fans it will be a pairing of giant killers (if they both kill their giants).

I'd much prefer to see Floyd vs Pacquiao, which is pretty much inevitable unless Floyd decides to duck out on it on the grounds that he already beat the man that rightfully beat Pacquiao. I wouldn't put it past him.

Floyd would disagree, but he isn't so significant that the sport of boxing will change if he wins or loses. Most of his fights are kind of boring anyway.

It's a good thing for boxing if the best man wins.
