Not really true. Mayweather did a good job of holding and keeping his head out of harms way. Whos to say Pac wouldnt be easier to tie up if he got hurt, hes smaller and probably not as strong.

He didnt have complete control of his legs though, but after watching it a couple more times, I think he wasnt as hurt as bad as I initially thought.

Pacquiao would have waited and been more patient than Mosley and wouldn't have been been so wild. A hurt fighter is a dangerous fighter and Pacman knows this.

    Wait wait?

    Floyd hits HARDER than cotto?
I know you think xylocaine works wonders, but would it give floyd loaded gloves like margocheato?

Pac is not that good of a finisher. He scores a lot of KDs though because of his speed, they dont see his punches coming.

JMM off the mat 4 times, weak DLH, beat up Cotto, old Barrera ALL have far superior chins compared to Floyd.

If Pac does not KO Floyd early, Pac has no chance.

But Floyd is no where NEAR the caliber chin of the guys you mentioned. I have no clue why you thought this would be a logical addition to this discussion. The fact that Pac did not KO guys with stronger chins has no bearing on whether or not he can KO a weaker chinned Floyd. Logical fail.

    Say no more.

Floyd has underated power, there's a reason why Mosley didn't try and walk Mayweather down, that right hand has a lot more power in it then people think. Mosley didn't want to throw because a) Mayweather is so fast and could catch him at will B) Mayweather does have power.

Anyway, Mayweather only got 'rocked'. Mosley was NOT close to knocking him out, he was merely close to knocking him DOWN...

That makes no sense. Margo and Cotto are two different fighters, you realize this right?

Floyd is stronger than Cotto, and lands punches with far more accuracy and impeccable timing than Cotto could dream of. This is true for any version of Cotto but especially true for the post-plaster Cotto who fought Manny.

sorry i vehemently disagree. watching all of floyd's fight, and comparing them to cotto's and cotto comes out way on top in terms of delivering punching power. floyd can catch someone off guard, that's what makes his punches deadly.. but pacquiao does the same thing, though with more power and awkwardness.

Regardless of who is more powerful, I would bet that Manny will be more susceptible to Floyd's timing than he was to Cotto's raw power. Manny took some tough shots but nothing compared to what we can reasonably expect Floyd to deliver, whether you think it is timing or whatever that makes them more dangerous.

Certainly, if you compare Cotto to Floyd's lightweight days, Cotto seems much stronger. After the Mosley fight, I am not so sure. What I am sure about is that Pac can land a big shot- not as big as Mosley's- but big enough to stun Floyd, and then let the fists fly to finish Floyd off. I am sure this CAN happen, but I still would not bet on it.

Pac has to know that he must finish Floyd early to win. No sense in even preparaing for a long fight. Floyd will school him if he does.

Floyd could surprise us all and have an iron chin, making him absolutely unbeatable. Should be an interesting fight. Let's pray they make it happen.
