The more excuses we make in this community the bigger joke the following becomes and we just look like a bunch of salty casual fans.

Sergio's trainer Pablo said in the interview it was Cotto's attack that hurt Sergio more than his knee. Sergio and his camp never directed the loss to Sergio's past injury. Sergio clearly stated he was 100% before the fight and was ready to compete.

Boxing is a sport where 100% health is never guaranteed. If you boxed before you know for certain most of your fights you're never at 100% at each fight or sparring match or even a day in training. Fighters face severe to minor injuries from the hands, knees, to back, neck and shoulders and fighting or training concussed. Learn more about the sport and accept reality. Stop being salty about outcomes and saying brainless statements.

When you begin to discredit a man's success in the hardest sport in the world, you begin to dig into self hatred of your self and deniable to the reality of the world.

This isn't Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat where your health bar starts at a clean 100%. Stop using that term. Sergio couldn't handle Cotto's offense and Cotto was Cotto prime tonight. This fight was all on Cotto, Sergio admitted, Sergio's trainer Pablo admitted and Cotto defined it in the post fight interview.

If you're one of the people who said Sergio would kill Cotto and now are blaming the loss on Sergio's knee: Go walk into the Pacific ocean with 90 lb dumbbells.

Cotto has as much boxing mileage as Marinez...what the **** are you talking about? You're acting like Cotto is 25 years old and Martinez is 45.

Another excuse by a dumb casual who doesn't know is about this sport. go step into a gym, fatty.

Cotto beat Martinez who beat Williams who beat Margarito who beat Martinez and beat Cotto and whom Cotto beat...Cotto losing to Trout has nothing to do with Martinez. Styles make fights.

No one needs to impress you because you're a nobody with no accomplishments in life.

    100? This Sergio wasn't even at 20%

Cotto beat the shot, disabled corpse of a former elite fighter. It's clear as day he never really recovered from his injuries. Cotto, Sergio and the media conned us all and made big $$$ with this farce of a match, they made us believe it was going to be competitive

I wasn't impressed with Cotto either, it took him 9 rounds to beat a handicaped man who could barely satnd on two legs. I dont see Cotto beating anyone of note at 160. GGG would ice him

It's crazy, but the event of Serg being "shot" perfectly coincided with a massive left hook landed on Serg...weird stuff.

And on to the next guy, I don't believe Cotto would win that fight either but if he did it would just be GGG was never proven, he was still green, he was overhyped etc.

yes fighters need to impress us because we are the ones who buy the fights!! without us they would make no money. as long as there are people who DKSAB paying to see these farces overhyped boxers like cotto will continue to make 7 million dollar paydays for beating up on elderly fighters fighting w a walker in the ring. for my part i will be much stricter on which fights i will choose to pay for in the future.

Sergio was ripe for the picking a repeat of Oscar-Pacman. Roach is a master at this, matching his fighters with someone that's done. Only time that it backfired was with Marquez.

Sergio quit after 9 rounds because he can barely walk, what else need to be said, does that sound like 100% to you?

Pac stopped Cotto, made him a bloody mess. Martinez refused to fight Golovkin because he knew this would be his last fight, his knees were shot. Possible fight between Golovkin and Cotto, Golovkin by knockout. HBO is interested in this fight, but Cotto will probably refuse.......................Martinez will retire now because he is done for.............

Serg was bouncing around like a kid before that hook...Cotto did a great job of never letting him fully recover. Matter of fact, he did start to recover in the middle rounds., started getting his bounce back then Cotto knocked it of him again and never lookd back. Now, how is Serg's knees gonna be shot then start to recover in the middle of a rigorous fight?? If anything they would've gotten progressively worse the entire time without ever recovering at any point, but he did, that points to a recovery of the clearing of cobwebs in the brain.

How do you think Sergio used to move around the ring with genius? How can he use his defense when he had no legs? :patsch
