Right now the best 3 fighters in the world in no order are Gonzalez, Ward and Kovalev.

Loma needs to beat Salido before he even cracks that level. Let alone p4p #1.

And he needs to beat or at least put up a good showing against a high level pressure fighter. Until then he's not p4p.

He needs to prove that he can handle pressure. Period. End of discussion.

I think the reason people are calling BIM that is because of he's ridiculous super human skill level.

In terms of skill he is miles ahead of all 3 mentioned

Not miles really. And when for example you punch like an 18 wheeler with turbo like Kovalev you can make up for lack of prettiness or skill...

He is arguably #1, but I can respect opposing opinions, especially when you consider he hasn't avenged his only loss. He is the most dominant fighter at the moment imo.

Only part of your post I'm in somewhat agreement with is Loma has to beat salido clear before he's talked about as a top 10 p4p candidate, LOSING to salido almost disqualifies him for good. truth be told, he's going to have to do far more than simply beating salido who doesn't and never will have the ability to pull an upset on an elite fighter.

Elite fighters routine walk right through salido level fighters, that fight was 2 very evenly matched pros and NO it was NOT lomas 2nd fight, unless his pro ruled tournaments somehow were fought by his twin

Omg, Salido was a welter weight, Salido missed weight, fouled throughout the entire fight, it was Loam's 2nd pro fight, and it was a very close fight that could have been argued for either fighter.. and since, Loma has dominated the game against quality opposition. In fact, Loma's resume is better than a few top 10 P4P fighters including Golovkin's.

    Loma > Golovkin

Hate to break this to you kid, but the "0" on the record does not mean ****.

Many great fighters suffered losses in the past, some even to lesser fighters to Salido. What defines the fighter is how he comes back from it.

As for the topic at hand, It's waay to soon to call him the p4p king. Chocolatito and Ward are the only ones with "p4p king" credentials.

Most great fighters don't lose at 25 years old to gatekeeper C level opposition.

Dude, Ward #3?? He just got beat up and outboxed by Kovalev.

You can fall back on the gift decision but you're not fooling anybody. He doesnt belong in the same sentence as Loma.

Loma's skill level is surreal. He possesses skills and a feel for the fight that hasn't been seen in a long long time. He's P4P #1 and it's not that close.

Loma, GGG, Chocaltito, Kov - after that it's anyone's guess.

How's he going to beat Salido, when Salido doesn't want to rematch him??? Does he have to take out a mortgage and offer his soul to have Salido sign the contract? And also, wtf is with people making it look as if Loma lost fair and square? He got his balls turned into an omelet by a guy that cheated on the scales, with a ref that routinely looked the other way, and still rallied and almost knocked the cheater out in the championship rounds. Had this been a fair fight, Salido would have been knocked out by round 8.

Many ATGs have lost to subpar comp and still became ATGs, even in modern day boxing.

Ever heard of Manny Pacquiao, Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez, Bernard Hopkins, Roberto Duran etc..?
