Why? I don't get it. They say most of the fights suck. Guess what? Most of the fights in 2015 suck. I mean it's not like HBO and Showtime are lining up A class fighters in their primes facing each other. Don't even get me started on PPV. This PBC is free.
PBC isn't that bad. HBO is better, but PBC is free. I don't think all the fights have sucked though. Kovalev vs Pascal was fun. I liked what I saw Chris Eubank Jr do against Dmitry Chudinov on Sky or Box Nation. Alvarez vs Kirkland, Golovkin vs Monroe, Bradley vs Dulorme, and Gonzalez vs Sosa on HBO weren't FOTY worthy, but were all entertaining mismatches while they lasted ending in phenomenal knockouts. The fights in Europe and Asia were probably better. We should be hearing reports of the stuff we missed soon enough when people start posting mid-year top fight so far threads.
what was the paid attendance for that querrero-martinez fight??? i don't think it even break a thousand.
Abso=fukkin-lutely.:good While I personally despise GAYMAN for hiding his titlists from other promotional banners, he does make some decent IN-HOUSE fights. And while I'd rather see Broner doign the chicken dance from a Postol R cross, I'll be just as happy to see Porter push his shiit in with a winging L hook.:good
Hell yeah they do. There was the Rios v Chaves DQ fiasco. Timothy Bradley v Chaves fiasco. **** fights like Rios v Alvarado 3, the last 2 Lomochenko fights against subpar opponents. All of GGG televised fights are against walking punching bags, yet this forum hypes the living **** out of his opponents.
Steve Kim is a disgraceful so called journalist. He takes cheap shots anything related to Haymon or Andre Ward.
Steve Kim is very biased, and pro whoever allows him into their camp. PBC is doing very well in my opinion, and I enjoy those fights.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but so does Top Rank (I'm speaking of not allowing their fighters to often make fights with those under another promotional banner). It's a common business practice in boxing.
