People see any differences with Wladimir after the Warch & Pieneta fight?

Wlad has looked impressive in recent bouts, more aggressive utilising his offensive skills of old combined with the boxer, spoiler style Steward created for him.

This Wlad maybe the perfect combination of defense and offense, though I still think he is a little to hesitant and does not take advantage of every counter opportunity.

But then again his recent opposition have been very poor even for this era, will be interesting to see if he is just as aggressive against Povetkin.

I prefer this Wlad in his most recent outings. I have never been a fan and never bothered watching many of his fights but I actually look forward to seeing him fight now. He will never be exciting but I can admire his skill especially when he finishes fighters instead of carrying them for several rounds.

 

I was particularly impressed with Wlad's defensive reflexes and foot work. He's never been better.

 

I agree with this.

He let the fight get a little closer than usual when it comes to distance. Likely though, this had to do with his opponent and Pianeta's lack of a threatening punch or skillset.

 

PERFECT summation.

Pianeta's performance was so ****-poor it is hard to gauge anything about whether Wlad fought better or worse than any other fight.
