Dude, don't try hidin what's its not hideable. Holyifield was caught clear.
There was a survey about a peds seller, police found a list of clients names, one of them was "evan field". Evan Field, does it sound familiar? They called that number, and a man called Evander Holyfield, strangely similar to Evan Field, answered the phone. :bbb:hi:
And that's the reason there are some peoples in the forums that refers to him as evan field. It's not a mistyping, it's intentional.

Ag, by the way, Mike Tyson recently wrote a book, called "undisputed truth", about his own life and boxing career.
Obviously it's burning material, there are a lot of "bombs" in there, it's logic.
One of the things he sais is that he was using a lot of cocaine, between other things, prior and even during the fights.
When a journalist asked him how the hell he passed the tests, he said he used a fake wiener. :D Really, a fake wiener, full of someone else's urine.
the time he got caught for marijuana (lol) was just because they f***ed up during the test.
In fact, watching Tyson-Holyfield fights was like watching two exploded bodybuilders going at each others. Nobody seriously believe they were clean, and those are two of my favourite fights ever. Really spectacular, but hey, surely not clean.:-(

Ah, regarding the user asking for "olympic tests", those tests are a joke.

Do you know who Marion Jones is?
An olympic sprinter, that generated a scandal when she admitted the use of peds during her entire career.
    Admitted?
Yes, she admitted it, because she never got caught, not even once.

Well, ok, but how many tests did she pass? Musta've been one, or two, five at maximum, right?

    160.

She passed 160 olympic tests, and she was always clear as a baby. :deal
Do you feel safer, now, when a boxer results "clean"?

In the last olympics, a new record has been set for the number of tests done.
For the first time in the history of the olympics, more than half of the athletes present have been tested.
    It's not a joke, it's a fact and a record. :hey:scaredas::!:
    More than half.
And do you think they have interest in caughing a superstar like Usain Rolts?
It would be a mediatic suicide.

If I'm correct, the American athletes are allowed to be tested by the American agency for the Olympics.

    That's the point.

Cheating in sports is beyond easy. Most leagues, testing schedules, testing methods, etc. are set up for that exact reason.

Why don't all boxers partake in PED testing? Why is it always the "Players Associations" (who solely represent the players in specific sports leagues) that always refuse to improve or adjust the current archaic testing methods in use?

And it is the requirement to reach that level.

Low level high school football teams with none of their future careers in the business use PED's regularly.

    BUT to some people:

Elite, world class athletes whose success is based solely on their body and its ability/capacity when they are competing for fame and wealth for themselves and their family against guys who are on PED's, don't cheat.... suuuuuuure.

PED's in sporting have been factually around since 1952 (anabolic steroids).

I don't think this is true at all...

The Olympics aren't run by America, dude.

As far as i know, all out of competetion tests are done by US anti-doping (USADA). In competition tests (which are virtually meaningless as the athletes would have cycled off by then) are carried out by the sporting body (IAAF in athletics). The IOC carry out the in-competition in the Olympics.

As you can see, all the testing is carried out by a body which either represents the athletes country or the sport (this is the same for all countries not just the US). Untill this changes these bodies don't have much incentive to catch dopers....

I could care less. All sports are tainted to the gills from boxing to table tennis.
Either you accept it or stop watching boxing. Rarely you see a clean athlete. Very rare.
Go to your local gym and see how many men juice. Or to a amateur boxing night.
Ive seen guys shoot testosterone into their ass just to f.uck better.
You are living in a fairy tale.

PED's do not improve talent. Either you have talent or you don't.. Vargas was on PED's and still lost to DLH. DLH has more talent than Vargas. PED's don't keep you from getting punched in the face, Ped's don't give you better ring generalship or more technical boxing skill.

Of course PEDs can boost talent. That's the full point of taking them and why they're banned ffs.

They might not improve your ring iq, but they sure as hell can improve athletic ability.

    Same as anywhere else though.

UK have the UK Anti-doping agency.

So then Vargas should have smashed DLH to smithereens, same with Mosley right? PED's will not and cannot improve your actual skill level. More stamina, speed and strength? Sure. There are a plethora of fighters who are strong, fast and have good endurance, naturally, who also happen to suck.

I have trouble following this line of reasoning. The drugs make you better, not automatically better than everyone.

Steroids does not make you a great fighter.

These guys were of extraordinary potential, regardless of the positive tests.
How many do you think go unnoticed? Be honest with yourself.... we might aswell face the truth.

No. Speed, strength and stamina are contribute to your skill level you idiot. They won't improve your boxing ability (bar improving reflexes) or your ring iq.

Just because one fighter beat a fighter who took PEDs doesn't mean that other fighters who take PEDs don't recieve an unfair advantage. They don't make a fighter unbeatable. What a dumbass argument.
