I do feel sorry for the guys who never used PED's. I doubt guys like Froch ever did them.

And lol at the people trying to claim PED's don't enhance performance or give an advantage. If that were the case nobody would use them.

You and your lack of reading comprehension can **** off. Your teachers have failed you miserably shitface!!! I never once said PED's didn't enhance performance. Not once. For the last time I said they don't give you talent, which again was my very, very simple point!!! Physical attributes play a role in your skill, sure. Then again a fighter who may have speed, a big punch or stamina, isn't always a talented fighter, roided up or not.You just sound ****ing stupid dude! You every hear of fundamentals? Technical boxing skill? The last time I checked you didn't have to be fast, strong or have ungodly stamina to be a fundamentally sound and skilled fighter. This is a sport based on skill and you've obviously just been introduced to the sport of "BOXING"..

In your infinite wisdom, how did PED's work out for Berto? I was at the Berto-Ortiz fight, Andre got beat up. I certainly did not see a talent or skill improvement from him. You are acting like PED's turn you into the Incredible Hulk, thus my Vargas reference. I'm sure you are staring at your screen drooling because I can't imagine a scenario where you understand anything that I'm saying to you so you can have the last word dude..

IDGAF what idiocy you type, PED's DO NOT give you more talent or skill AT ALL!!!!

You're a ****ing ******. They enchance talent you dumb ****er. They obviously don't give you natural pure boxing talent and not one person has claimed that they do :patsch

It doesn't matter that someone who took PEDs got beat (Vargas, Berto), they don't make you unbeatable. They won't increase your ring IQ or natural boxing ability. No ****. They do make you better though by boosting your physical attributes. Loaded gloves don't boost ring IQ or natural ability either. Maybe we should excuse people who use them?

I'm done with you. You don't seem to understand that physical attributes contribute to a boxers talent and skill set.

You just keep parroting on about how they won't boost ring IQ and pure boxing ability when no one ever claimed that they do.

Some people on this forum :rofl of course PED's can improve talent. Talent is more than technique it's natural attributes as well.

Obviously PED's won't enhance your technical boxing skill or ring IQ

What they can do is improve speed, stamina, strength, recovery etc as well as allowing a fighter to train with more intensity without getting injuries as easily. This is a fact. Not up for debate.

All these things can make you much more effective in the ring. It doesn't make you unbeatable or superman, but it 100% has the ability to make you more dangerous than you otherwise would be. I'm surprised anybody argues with this :patsch

+1. And I firmly believe they can help improve one's skill. Not directly, but by allowing for more gym time and skills work. Talent x Practice = Skill

Skills are an output of those two variables. If I take something that allows me to recover quicker and work out longer, I can put more time into my skills work. I'll be a more skilled boxer than if I hadn't taken anything. Also, if I can take something to get me conditioned more efficiently, I can also put more time on skills work. Gameplanning, too.

Fight IQ is really the only thing that they won't improve, mainly because that gets developed a lot through sparring and sparring's the bottleneck- you don't want to spar too much even if he's fit enough for it....I suppose you could always throw your guy on Adderall and force them to watch master boxers with their eyes pried open while schooling them on what's happening instead.
