People seem to gloss over the fact that Wilder has one of the best mandibles in boxing.

He is stopping Tyson Fury and he won't ever be stopped by him in a million years. He took heavy bombs from Ortiz and never went down, those shots would have turned almost everyone else into cold cuts.

He has NEVER been legitimately dropped in the professional ranks, never and there's no footage to prove it or any legitimate proof.

He has one of the best mandibles in the game, and the proof is in the pudding.

    1. That was a SLIP and that's that, even the ref saw it as such

    2. There's no footage that you guys can present, I have the fight and I know for a fact that it was a slip.

I was discussing this topic with your mother yesterday. She said the same thing so I had to prove it with some bullet-proof evidence that the mandibular fortitude of Deontay W. is not as sturdy as some deluded individuals have been suggesting. At the end of the discussion I think I had managed to successfully convince her that she has been blatantly misguided on this subject.

Oh right and I also banged her later on.

There's literally 0 evidence of mandibular fragility with this man.

    None.

Ortiz has clubbing power, they aint bombs. Wilder imo has heart to make up for a less than stellar chin, he's proved me wrong !

Anybody that can take the ferocious power of Harold Sconiers is a legend in my eyes.

A technically good shot can hurt you worse than a heavy handed power shot. Ortiz isn’t the heaviest handed but he is a technically sound, sharp puncher

Whilst I don’t think he has the chin of an Ali, he has a better chin than most fans give him credit for. Haye recently said in sparring with Wilder he was never able to drop him even with flush big shots.

Well he's been rocked a few times, he ain't got Golovkin levels of chin but it's obviously not a bad chin, you get caught flush of an 18+ stone fighter then your gonna get hurt. Dunno if this makes any difference v Fury, Fury isn't going in there to KO him, he'll be looking to comprehensively outbox Wilder whereas it'll be Wilder looking to KO Fury.

Fury ain't a huge puncher but if he lands flush he could KO Wilder I reckon though its unlikely to happen. Wilder needs the KO more as I don't see him being able to win on points unless it's home cooked.

I see him punch with the wrong part of the glove all the time, like cuffing shots, like he doesn't turn in to it 100%. His timing is excellent though and as you say can be sharp and precise

Haye said the same about BJ Flores in the build up to the fight when Bellew dropped him at will

I seem to gloss over due to the fact i dont believe it. Its not as bad as some people make out thats for sure but ive seen enough of him wobbled, stunned and ive seen him dropped, infact isnt there proof of that already on this thread? Joshua puts him to sleep, maybe ends his career.

him and BJ are close friends, so there is biasness. Of course Hayes word isn’t gospel I just think we can agree, Haye is good puncher, so if he says that, it leads at least some credence to Wilder Chins.
