Quarteys jab is one of the most negative posters on ESB, he badly doesnt want this fight to happen for whatever reason, he jumps on ANYTHING negative to do with Mayweather or the fight. I dont give his threads the time of day anymore, at least not the ones to do with what Ive just mentioned.
Exactly. People are completely gullible nowadays. It's all pre-fight hype. It's got us talking about the fight, and that's the point. They both want to make money, and this is the way to do it.

the same with hopkins v calzaghe, for about 8 month there was denials about any negotiation then all of a sudden it's practically signed. the best example i can think of, alan smith goin to man united, he even gave an interview saying he would never join the reds, one week later he was their player. pre fight hype sells tickets, not everyone is a hardcore boxing fan, they need the drama to entice them to watchin the fight
