    wtf do I care if he was a welter or a super welter. He beat Martinez ( the lineal 160 lbs champ) and he should fight middleweights @ 160 lbs , not catchweights.:patsch

    Makes his career at 140 coming into the ring at 159 and punching people in the nuts...
    Moves up to 147 and quits...
    Steals a belt at 154 from a crippled guy...
    Loses to Trout...
    Hasn't beaten a live opponent since he lost to Margarito...
    Steals the belt at 160 from a crippled guy...
    Ducks the highest-paying fight available against a Mexican rival who beat his brother...
    Ducks the #1 challenger...
    Fights a guy who got knocked out by the #1 challenger...
    Oh by the way, that fight will be at a catchweight...
    Wears pink...
    Look at his son...

    Cotto Martinez was a good fight because he was up there in age, had previous injuries, so was not a 100%, plus he was always a fighter that kept his hands down, and he was a big marquee name. This does not mean that three G and Cotto would be a good fight, and as a fight fan, and a fan of sports, that should be the only thing you care about since it's the entire purpose of sports. Complaining about a belt that doesn't concern you makes no sense, and only makes people come off as whiny haters...which is really annoying, it's like Days of Ours Lives in this piece now days, seriously.
