I believe that Floyd Mayweather is possibly the greatest 130 pounder of all-time , that was his best weight division , he proved himself a ATG ,there he beat Chicanito , Chavez , Hernandez , Manfredy , Corrales . Really great , all of the fights after he moved up from 130 should really be viewed as sort of novelty fights , any weight above 130 is not his absolute best weight , and still he proved himself against opponents at these other weight classes beyond doubt. He doesnt need to prove himself against Cotto and the others , he could retire now and let the quality welters contest the vacant title , I will not have a poblem with this .

    P.S. I'm not a Mayweather fan , just a boxing fan

I made a thread like this last night. I would love to see Floyd fight Cotto and williams and all but if he decides to retire, I got no problem with that. he has earned it and there is always one other guy out there no one lasts forever and he will never be able to fight them all.
