Fury made a believer out of me for sure! I couldn't imagine him doing what he did last night. So now I accept he most definitely is the man at the top of the world. How long he can stay up there is anyones guess but he's already surpassed my expectations so I'm not onboard the Fury train. Lets see what Wlad can do in the 2nd fight and go from there but for now Fury is the man who beat the man. Props to Fury for proving 95% of the world who thought he couldn't that in fact he could..and did!! I don't like his trash talk and now he's up at the top hopefully he won't feel the need to do this...time will tell!

    1. Wlad is 39, I cannot remember in retrospect where anybody ever got great credit for beating a 39 year old fighter. No matter how preserved, 39 is not a prime fighter, period.

    2. It's not about aesthetics. It's about respect for boxing. Fury is fat. What does it tell you about the current state of HW boxing that the lineal champ is a fat man? It's the weakest it's ever been by far. Hey, Pacquiao is one ugly ass dude. Anybody ever take a look at that mug??? He has fans and nobody complains about his aesthetics because he was never fat.

    3. Caring about how fat they are is not feminine. It's about caring about the quality of the product. And anybody who saw the fight last night can attest to the **** poor quality of product. If anything being fat makes you more feminine than the guy who is cut. As fat guys have much higher levels of estrogen and lower levels of testosterone.

    4. The fight sucked. People are slow to credit when they waste their money on a **** poor product.

My two cents in response to the OP.

Except when Holmes and Ali were 38 they weren't ranked p4p. Wlad was ranked p4p and many argued he should be 1. Not to mention holnes came back to Bear Mercer and trouble evander at 42.

The age excuse is a myth from kliturds

fury looked like **** squeezing past a 39 year old who for the second fight in a row, refused to throw a meaningful punch. if fury is trying to kill boxing, he deserves credit, otherwise not one iota.

LOLOL, yea especially when the fat, clumsy guy is trying to act like Jones Jr in there. That was pathetic.

If you actually knew anything about bodybtypes you would know that fury is not fat. Hes actually normal sized and has a healthier body.

For a big guy, having abs more than likely means you are malnourished or you are on steroids. You are saying a aesthetic body is better than a practical one. Dude, just come out and say you love the look of a chiseled male body and that it makes you hard. Because that's what you are really telling us.

Fury is definitely better than I thought - he fought a good fight and showed more durability than I expected. And for this he deserves credit. But his victory also needs to be understood in context - he beat an aging champ who had been showing signs of decline prior to this.

Now, again, credit to Fury - I didn't even think he would beat this version of Klistshko. In fact, I thought he'd get starched, likely quite early. So he has already demonstrated that he's the best of the new generation of HWs, and for this he deserves congratulations.
