People talk about Alexander being better than Bradley, but against Witter...

Bradley completely outboxed Witter and was barely tagged. Not to mention the fact that Witter hadn't been beat since Zab Judah several years ago, and was considered the top guy aside from Hatton at 140.

In fact, many favored him over Hatton.

Witter could not figure out Bradley at all and the fact that he got a split decision was ridiculous, and if it wasn't for the viscious knock down, and it was viscious, Bradley would have been robbed.

On the other hand, Alexander made Witter quit, who claimed his elbow hurt, yet looked very hittable and was in a more competitive fight from a boxing perspective.

So, why are people favoring Alexander over Bradley when he's not as slick, not as versatile as he's basically a mid range fighter, and seems to only have size and power over Bradley who is a more complete fighter.

Not to mention the fact that Bradley has proved it against fighters like Cherry, Witter who he looked better against, Holt, Campbell, and Peterson.

To be honest, I think Peterson would have a very good chance to beat Alexander, as he looks like he has a warrior mentality in the sense that while Bradley was dominanting on the cards, every round was very close, and he fought hard until the final bell, showing amazing athleticism and versatility.

In fact, Alexander who is a mid range fighter would have big problems getting inside on Peterson, which is something Alexander has not shown that he can do, while Bradley has shown the ability to fight both on the outside and inside.

So, again, why is Alexander rated higher than Bradley at this point?

Instead of fighting Kotelneck or whatever his name is, Alexander should fight Peterson if he wants to make a name for himself in the division.

But he wont because he will lose this fight.

I like Bradley more, but really I thought Bradley's fight with Witter was more competitive. Bradley had trouble figuring Witter out early but dominated the rest of the way if I recall correctly.

Alexander beat the **** out of Witter every round. Granted, Witter looked like absolute ****, falling all over the place with his wild punches, but it was a wipe out.

People are enamored by Alexander because he knocked out a guy who was built up as unknockoutable, plain and simple. No one even talked about Alexander before that fight. Devon is a good fighter, but he definately needs improvement.

I agree, and people are automatically assuming that I guess based on his win over Urango, who has very limited boxing ability and a one dimensional skillset, they think he's at the top of the division when he clearly hasn't earned the spot.

Bradley could have chosen an opponent like Kotelneck too, but instead he's been fighting much stearner opposition.

Alexander is the top guy at 140. Bradley don't want to fight him.

I watched both fights, Alexander arguably won every round against Witter, maybe lost a couple, Bradley-Witter was much closer, much more scrapy. Bradley may have KD'ed Witter, but Alexander hurt him more

The Witter win is better for me, but that KO seemed inhuman, because no one has put a dent in Urango before.

That and he has super fast hands and slickness WItter is the best on both his and Bradleys resume, and Alexander looked better in my view. Plus the kids still only 23

Nah, Urango's been dented...but it happened to be against maybe the hardest p4p hitter out there Randall Bailey.

Why's that? Kotelnik and Peterson have really similar styles, only Peterson's defense is more porous and his chin isn't as sturdy. Kotelnik probably deserved the nod against Witter and has a win (albeit a disputed one, one which I felt he lost closely) over Maidana. Peterson has yet to be competive with a top fighter at junior welter.

Let's be reasonable in this assessment.

Peterson is much more athletic than Kotelnik. He has faster hands, far better agility, and more range.

Not to mention that he's more versatile. He would probably win every round against Kotelnik.

Nobody even thinks this fight is going to be competitive, but against Peterson, many people would think that Peterson has a legitimate chance to win.

They may not favor Peterson, but they wouldn't be shocked if he won.

Kotelnik, does anyone actually think this guy has a chance at all?

This is why i say you're ******ed. Devon won mostly every rounds vs Witter in which he made Witter quit. The elbow injury is a bs excuse in which i'm not surprise cause when is the last time a fighter quit when that fighter didn't make excuses? Put it this way Witter won more rounds vs Bradley then he did vs Devon.

You don't know **** about boxing.

Alexander was taking punches way more than Bradley was.

Bradley was winning every round in my opinion too. The fact that the scorecards were even close shows a hometown bias.

Bradley fought an incredibly smart fight and Witter could barely land on him.

Bradley attacked Witter to the body early with jabs and hooks, and found a spot for his right hand later on in the fight.

Witter was confused and looked off balance.

I doubt you even saw either of the fights. You're just a typical dick rider who doesn't know **** about boxing.

Alexander is more hittable than Bradley. Obviously you didn't watch the fight at all because you woudln't have seen the scorecards were bull****.

    Stop commetning on my threads.
