who had B-Hop on their Top 10 P4P list but refuse to acknowledge Joe as a legit fighter...

Why can't Joe be given his due respect?

    1) a lot of people thought he lost
    2) he promised to dominate and fell well short
    3) it was a **** poor performance

because he can't box...he hides it by throwing thousands of slaps and few legitimate punches...Hopkins had the better of JC that fight, he was right to feel robbed, you could physically see that the apparant punches Calzaghe had landed hadn't had any kind of affect on Hopkins. He had every right to feel aggrieved. He fought the perfect defensive performance.

1.He was outboxed and knocked down by a 43 year old who isn't known to be a power puncher until the old man gassed out.

Joe C is sort of like RJJ. Exceptional raw talent but once that goes, he has very little boxing skills that he can fall back on. He has no pop. What can he do once his exceptional stamina, reflexes, and footspeed diminishes somewhat?

If Hopkins had the same stamina he had in round 1, he would've won an easy UD. Anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves. Hopkins didn't have the same precision in his punches as the fight wore on and that's due to his lack of stamina at age 43.
