I've noticed this trend since I recently started visiting this place. People like you who've spent hours trolling around these forums make assumptions about the general public to try and make their point true. That's not how this works guy. You either bring facts, compromise and learn from others or you're just stuck in your own world where only those who agree with you are right.
That being said, yes, I'm fairly new to the sport. I'm young, only been following boxing since 1996 and been an amateur boxer myself for no more than a year now.
And I've never criticized Manny. He's done pretty well for himself. All I wanted to point out is that there are weight classes for a reason. A SuperWelterWeight IS at a disadvantage when his heavy perks are taken away. Yes, Manny does have the advantage here when he chose to not make the 10 extra pounds for 154 title. Why? Because it's simply easier for an individual to fight at a weight where he's comfortable and is able to execute his plan without the stress of not carrying the extra baggage. I recall not long ago when Marquez tried to gain weight and he looked as awful as ever. Not to mention his opponent came way over the limit as well.
Weight classes. Stick to them.
