Which kind of surprises me. I didn't give him a chance at the beginning but the more I thought about it I realized:

This is Floyd's first real welterweight fight. And this is his first real fight since De La Hoya.

Shane, as old as he is, is possibly the best guy Floyd has ever faced.

Floyd in many ways is still untested. We don't know how great of a welterweight he really is. We don't know how great his chin really is. We don't know what intangibles he has.

I predict a Floyd UD but I have a gut feeling Shane is going to surprise everybody. He's got a reach advantage, power, speed, and lot of determination. Lets just hope it's a great fight.

After the 3 round reality will sets in ...and most people will..I believe Mayweather can stop Mosley....this fight is a Mismatch.

Yea he is being severely underestimated. People are so quick to forget that every style in boxing Shane has faced, Not only that he has faced them at their best and at their best weights. Shane has pushed for greatness, sometimes made crazy business decisions but that made him the fighter he is today. He's fought guys who could move, he's fought guys that could defend, guys that could punch, guys that could bully, guys who could adjust, guys who were just simply out of his weight range.

And through all of that the only times he was soundly beaten was against Wink and Forrest in both of their first encounters. In both of those rematches he adjusted and could have arguably won those decisions. Bottom line is Shane has seen it all in every size, shape, and color.

Floyd should be a favorite based on his record and accomplishments, but people are easily fooled by Mosleys losses. For some reason these days a loss is a bigger deal than who you have beaten and who you have fought. Look through to what Shane has done in his career and even recently against who he's done it against, it's very impressive. But everybody looks for holes, and thats why Shanes getting underestimated.

When did Floyd become a prospect? Only a prospect would be as untested as some make him to be. And when did Baldo and Judah cease to be real Welterweights? This is all puzzling to me.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAA! That's the dumbest sh*t I've ever read. Thank you for that.

Mosley has never been stopped and only knocked down in one fight in his career. Mayweather can't hit anywhere near as hard as the man who did it, Vernon Forrest. When you make statements like that, you leave people with the impression that you don't know sh*t about boxing. Mayweather will win by a clear, but still competitive decision, in my opinion. I think it is entirely possible that Mayweather could win a one-sided decision, but a knockout? Man, miss me with that bullsh*t.

I didn't say he's untested, I said his chin and heart are untested. He's been hit but he's never been really beat up.

I'm just saying that Shane is the first real tough, big welter that Floyd has faced. And he happens to be a great fighter too - so it's hard to believe that people are underestimating him.

Mosley is very underrated in this fight but what kind of work rate can Shane sustain at 38 and after being off for 15 months...

The Mosley that fought Cotto sure wasn't the best of Mosley and if we see the same guy looking to constantly land big shots then Floyd will feast on him all night.

If Mosley can somehow carry on his stamina through 12, sustain a high workrate and let his hands go with combos when in position to land, then he has a very good chance to cause a surprize.

Marquez did tag Mayweather a few times in their fight and if a very small bloated and slower Marquez did it on a few occasions, then most likely Mosley will be able to do it too. How does Mayweather react to a true powerful puncher at 147lbs? That's a question we'll be able to finally answer at that weight.

I hope Mosley can do it but the wise bet still remains Mayweather.

If Floyd's chin and heart are untested, if he's untested at WW, and if Shane is a great fighter, why are you picking Mayweather?

ahh but.... he didnt look good against mayorga, he got beat by Cotto (who pac easily smashed), and he beat Margacheato on a night Antonio was not at his best (with bricks).
