be honest the only reason you want floyd to go up in weight is the hopes that ggg will win. first of all who has ggg beaten that makes you think he could beat the most highly skilled best defensive fighter in boxing? newsflash, as the a side floyd would drain and use every advantage known to man to beat ggg.
    1. rehydration clause, floyd will weight drain ggg down to 152 and then demand a rehydration clause. ggg would be skin and bones and then floyd would show up at 150 further using his speed and footwork to tire ggg out.
    2. huge ring, floyd would fight on the outside all night countering ggg and pot shotting him to death. anytime things get hairy floyd would clinch the weight drained ggg and suck even more life out of him.
    3. huge glove, even if zombie weight drained ggg can land a clean shot it would have little effect wearing gigantic clown gloves.
    4. hometown advantage, handpicked judges and ref, ggg will not ko floyd because of the aforementioned points, and there is no way he loses a decision in vegas w his judges and ref.
    5. defense, footwork, skill, shoulder roll, clinches, all nullify power floyd has every advantage except for power which will be even further nullified by points 1,2,3,7. on top of all this floyd has a good chin.
    6. ggg just has never faced anyone even close to as talented as floyd, that combined w all the other advantages give ggg no chance!!
    7. reach, midget floyd even has a longer reach than ggg, helping him to keep distance and control range!!!!

so be careful what you wish for, ggg has no chance in hell to beat floyd, unless he somehow got floyd to come up to 160 and that aint happening. listen i am not a floyd fan just a realist so get it out of your delusional heads that ggg can beat floyd.

who is the best fighter ggg has ever beaten? now compare their skill level w mayweathers, now imagine a weight drained ggg w every possible advantage taken away from him and you will get a wide unanimous decision in favor of floyd in another boring potshot, run clinch performance by floyd.

Yeah and so what? Not everyone likes Floyd...

That being said, if Golovkin makes 154 without killing himself (not a certain thing by any stretch) Golovkin beats Floyd pretty handily.

no way in hell floyd fights at 154, he will offer fight at 150 and settle for 152 w fight night rehydration clause and embarrass a zombie drained ggg. further more, who has ggg beaten to put him even close to the skill level needed to beat floyd, much less not at his optimal weight?

People like to build up opponents for Floyd so when he beats them and collects a check they just toss him to the side. Same argument has been made since Mosley.
GGG is good for HIS weight class. If he drains down and gets whipped, even after agreeing to go down for that check, his team and fans as they do now for Manny will have a doppelganger of excuses.
It truly never ends until Floyd retires.

Yep, his haters were out in the cold when he outboxed Manny, they needed a new reason to bash at him so they came up with the "he's ducking the MW champion" argument.

I'm a Floyd fan and i would like to see this match, only to see how great Floyd is.don't get me wrong,Floyd is already great and locked top 15 ATG.

The problem is,even if Floyd would
win he would get little to no credit.GGG is on my eyes,is still unproven.but is definetly diamond in the ring.

SRR went up and gave Maxim hell,so what if Floyd loses?everybody loses at somepoint.and if Floyd would win, even the haters would say GGG was hypejob.they still, atleast i hope.would say that Floyd is great fighter and deserves his top 15 ATG ranking.

But still i have my doubs.Floyd wins,GGG is hypejob etc.. Floyd loses and he is fraud.so in many people eyes Floyd has nothing to win.as always with Floyd.

Where are the haters who say SRR is overrated because he lost to Maxim after he was past his prime.as Floyd is now too.

And if this match happens,Absolutely should be at 160.154 and the little credit Floyd would get goes out of the window.

But the REAL boxing experts and historians would give Floyd credit even 154.and 160 would be historical, and one of the best perfomances in boxing history.

This match makes sense.but on oneway it doesn't make sense,if you get what i mean.

And also after that haters would want see Floyd against Ward.then Kovalev etc..but i have to say i would too,not to see Floyd lose.but only to see how up and long he can be competitive.nothing wrong if he doesn't want to do that.for me it would be only amazing.imagine Floyd at 40 taking Ward to distance and losing close decision?there would be nothing wrong with that.then only we would know the limits of one of the goats.yes the 0would be gone,so what?ultimate warriors want find their limits

If you believe Golovkin is the only man to beat Floyd, that's a compliment to Floyd.

You guys are a bunch of drama queens.

If floyd offers crazy weight restrictions, of course he'd get less credit for fighting GGG than if he did at full middleweight limit. It's not rocket science.

We want to see Floyd fight GGG because that is the only guy south of 168 that stands ANY chance against him. Obviously Ward beats Floyd, no point in Floyd going any further than middleweight. But there IS a point in him fighting Golovkin because that outcome, even at full 160, IS in doubt. Floyd is that good and if he wants to call himself TBE, its not a HUGE request.

Why wouldn't we want to see Floyd in with a guy that stands maybe a 50/50 shot at beating him? Nobody else has those odds south of 168. No point to any other fight IMO, other than Floyd collect more checks.

I am a boxing fan first and crave elite fights where the odds are reasonably close. This would be one of those fights!

Golovkin would need to be drained to 152 if Mayweather has a chance on beating him.

re****ed logic its like saying who has chirsora fought where as ward has fought the best

so does that mean chisora wouldn't knock the hell out of ward?

as **** chisora is he would still knock ward out by round 1

when a fighter has that much power difference and size skills mean nothing and this applies to ggg vs mayweather

I disagree. Floyd can beat a GGG that is allowed full weight limit.

Fair fight would be 155 weigh in and 160 rehydration.
