skills play a role when the power or size difference is not that big

Tell rigo to fight limited alvardo/rios and see what happens as **** as alvardo is he hits far to hard for rigo's skills to mean anything

No, the power levels are too much, now take in to account the skill levels. Size matters when there is skill involved, Mayweather is not beating GGG at full weight :deal

the power won't be there if ggg is a weight drained zombie. combine that w floyds defense and floyd wins easily.

even if ggg hits half as hard as he does now he would still hit much harder then the hardest ww mayweather has fought:lol:

The power difference is to much for skill to be a factor here

Golovkin is not just about power, the man knows how to cut off the ring, is a technical powerhouse, he is a stalker with gold medal pedigree and precision. He has an iron chin, heavy boned (large frame) and powerful. I do agree though, Mayweather would want Golovkin to drain himself to 152, which I see would take allot off Golovkin, but even then it would be a very competitive match, if Golovkin does not collapse walking in to the ring.

What if Floyd just can't make 160 which I don't think he can.. People talk like it's obvious he can make 160.. He's shown little sign he can go through training and weigh 154.. His 3 times fighting there he's weighed 150(Oscar), 152(Cotto), and 150 1/2(Canelo)...

Some people want Floyd to lose, others want him to make good his brag that he's the greatest ever. Just to prove he's as good as Ray Leonard who beat Hagler, they want Floyd to beat GGG. Of course, since Leonard went all the way up to light heavyweight, to be considered as good Floyd probably ought to win a title at least at super middleweight.

It's the same reason that people want GGG and Ward to move up a weight class. Nobody is challenging them at the weight they fight at and people want to see a more competitive fight. They want to see just how great the fighters are and how much advantage they can give away and still win.

What u mean cant make 160? 160 is max. You just wrote that he makes under 160 easy. He can come in the fight vs GGG at any weight under 160 he feels comfortable with.

Do you understand how weight classes work?

If Pacquiao won 90% of those claiming Floyd is hilariously ducking Golovkin wouldn't be clamoring for Manny to face him, they're both average sized at best welterweights. Cotto went above Junior Middleweight and fought a crocked Martinez who anybody would've beat that night for the belt, therefore he's fair game. 154 would be a joke because GGG would be drained, he could still put Mayweather away imo but it'd be a farce I wouldn't want to see, likely result is Mayweather UD because Golovkin was drained. At least have a fight for either of them above or below first to see how they react. Floyd either goes up above 154 like Cotto chose to (and yes Cotto does deserve serious credit for even trying it when nobody else wanted to regardless of how he's going about business) or stay below it, GGG has no business becoming a scarecrow.

I don't consider him TBE so I don't expect him to do it, if HE believes he is then he needs to go UP to the weight class and fight Golovkin, even if he was knocked out, it'd elevate his resume trying to do that.

Crimson Gloves, Floyd is definitely bigger than Pac and Pac was never going to beat Floyd. Floyd is better than Pac at any weight.

No way. Floyd would get seriously hurt at 160.

So if he can't make 160, why should be fight at 160? Why even have weight classes? That's giving his opponent more weight that he can't gain which would be stupid.. What other WW should fight a MW at the MW limit that they can't reach? People can say so and so did it, but they can make the weight.. You wouldn't ask them to go almost 10 pounds beyond their max weight...
