Again compare holyfield who was a middleweight who later beat Mike Tyson. Dempsey had 26 1st round ko's a harder puncher than Holyfield.

Stop smoking weed Frazier and Louis will be lucky to see the 3rd around against Tyson.

Agree on everybody but Frazier. Tyson is the harder puncher, faster and has arguably a better chin.

I'd substitute Lewis for Holmes ( only because Larry doesn't hit hard or fast enough to stop Tyson coming ) whereas the rest do either or both.

Oh, and I'd also add Holyfield because his egotistical " whatever you give me I'll give you back with interest " attitude would force Tyson into his shell. As indeed it did when they actually fought, when BOTH were past their best.

Fighters who beat 1988 Mike Tyson. I think there's only one, so I will list the ones i think would have troubled him the most:

    1- Prime Muhammad Ali
    2- Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko
    3- 1992/93 Riddick Bowe
    4- Jack Johnson
    5- Sonny Liston
    6- Joe Louis
7- Primo Carnera, yes.... Primo Carnera

No version of Bowe defeats any Tyson before the sacking of Rooney.

You are right, and I agree with you, but I think he could have troubled him a bit.

Bowe got hit to much for my liking and that is suicidal against Tyson.

I disagree. I think the Bowe that beat Holyfield the first time could beat any version of Tyson. He'd knock out Tyson in the later rounds when Tyson gets tired and head movement goes away.
