1. Tysons prison term had nothing to do with him losing his **** mentally. 2. The fact that he did lose his **** mentally is the very reason that the extremely mentally tough Holy beats him every day of the week and twice on Sunday's. I still believe that James Toney had it sussed when he was a Cruiser in the mid to late 90's when asked what his dream fight, and he said against Tyson. When asked how he even thought he could handle Tyson he said " Easy, hit the muthaf**a back every time, he don't like that "
I'm sure the 210 pound Holyfield going through 3 tough fights with the 240 pound Bowe, and fighting the likes of Foreman, Stewart, Cooper and Mercer .... took as much a toll on him as sitting in jail took on Tyson ! I mean, Holyfield was well softened-up for Tyson, he'd been in loads of wars, and been retired once or twice.
You don't have to be an especially big man to beat Tyson. I mean, Douglas and Lewis were (Holyfield not so much, although he was indeed bigger), but you didn't have to be. Dempsey poses a whole different set of problems than any of the super heavies that Mike fought. None were as ferocious, and that ferocity is something that I think rattled Mike even more than facing down a size disadvantage.
-Muhammad Ali - Larry Holmes - George Foreman - Lennox Lewis - Evander Holyfield -Vitali Klitschko The above names are the only one I'd feel comfortable giving a chance to and some of them are only 50/50 bets.
There was, IIRC, a pretty large contingent on here a while back that was thoroughly convinced Liston would blast Tyson out early. It was around the beginning of the "we've decided Liston is too underrated nowadays, so we're going to overrate the bejezus outta him" movement.
foxy go away I don't want to go out with you. you cant have me, stop chasing me, you are on ignore , does that mean nothing to you? its the foxy and the grapes all over again.
Holyfield was the smallest fighter that Tyson lost to but he looked like a monster compared to Dempsey. Taller, longer reach, and a solid 25 Lbs. heavier. Holyfield was extremely strong and durable.
Yeah, but the size difference between Holyfield and Dempsey wasn't exactly relevant to my point, was it? For the record, I agree, Holyfield was never a "small" heavyweight even by modern standards: http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=241945
just Toney talking ****, nothing new. Tyson would have knocked Toney out. Toney was outboxed by Sam Peter ffs, i mean who did Sam Peter ever beat? to rub salt in the wounds he even did the Ali shuffle to mock Toney
Ferral the hater of people with white skin why do you keep replying to my posts, particularly when I address them to other posters. Fvcking stalker. The same fvckwit who now claims Corrie Sanders was a " non athlete".
Yeah you are right. People make themselves look a right kunt when they talk about ripping other peoples hearts out and eating their children. Especially when the other guy knocks them the fvck out. LMAO.
did someone write that prison has no effect on you mentally? woah, so badly misinformed, you'd have to be in single digit figures age to write that.
