people who demand cotto face ggg are fraud fans of the sport and cowards

this is long winded...but let me explain

first let me give you my stance on cotto

ive seen cotto fight 4 times live...against shane, mike jennings, pac and maravilla...im not a rabid diehard cotto fan...but hes been in some interesting fights against some of the top names in the game....hes been in many intriguing matchup and is fun to watch...im more of a floyd fan...jmm fan.....i like cotto but im not some diehard guy..in fact im rarely in a cotto thread defending him or whatever

but this ggg **** is ridiculous

cotto is a 140lb fighter who has progressed through the classes as hes aged...like many fighters

when he fought martinez...many said he was taking on a ripe martinez...that martinez wouldnt be 100 percent....and after that fight many said thats exactly what happened and it wasnt a real win...it was a sham and he beat a broken down fighter....there were a few who said otherwise that it was a real win for him and whatever...which is cool...i might even buy you saying it was a "cherry pick" by cotto just a little.....but it made sense...ppv...at the garden...big money and some history being made.....

now you want this guy to take on the natural middle weight monster? cotto is in many ways similar to martinez.....he doesnt have a singular injury you can point to ....but this guy has been around and been in many tough fights.....hes at the end of his rope

meanwhile the natural middle is fresh and hasnt been in anything close to a real war....he might as well be 23....cotto has top p4p entrants on his resume...several....several real world champions on it......ggg doesnt have a one.....

you can give me all this "cotto is lineal at 160 hes fair game" ****...i dont care to hear it...if cotto had fought macklin for a vacant world title at 158 catchweight and won would you be clamoring for cotto to fight ggg?

ggg being a fresh natural middle wants to pick on a worn 147lb fighter who grabbed the 160lb because a great opportunity presented itself.....thats what cotto/martinez was....a great opportunity that cotto pounced on......we all know ggg beats cotto up...it proves nothing.....except that ggg is a bully who wants to use cottos name for money and more fame(which is fine to a degree)...but i think ggg has already quite a name for himelf in the game(despite not having a great fighter on his resume) and doesnt need that....what he needs to do is find a real challenge

i dont have a problem with ggg at all to be honest...but his fanboys are turning into pacturd pt 2

yall seem to want to see cotto killed....5-10 natural middle against a 5-7 aging/worn welter....for what? so ggg can lay claim to something we already know is his? im not sure why so many have this distaste/disdain for cotto...the guy has had a really good career...has given us many really good fights and some of yall seem to want his blood

 

GGG is already the man at 160....everyone knows it....

if ggg wants to do something noteworthy...fight a top 150 p4p entrant for once in his life

 

what if cotto wants to keep that belt for a fight with floyd or canelo? i think hes earned that in some sort of way

again...the 160 lineal title doesnt mean jack to GGG....its a small footnote in history no one will care about....because unless ggg starts fighting anyone of note anytime soon....he will just be a footnote in history

yall either want to see cotto murdered....or ggg fans want cotto to be used as the first "name" on gggs resume....and those same fans are the ones who will sheit on cotto left and right any other time too...so what does it prove?

 

there are plenty of other top 150(notice i said 150 because thats how far down most of gggs comp is) p4p entrants......instead ggg wants to pick on a shop worn 5-7 welterweight at the end of his rope lol......there are tons of other chickens to chase for ggg...he just wants to pick on cotto....granted he wants to use the cotto name to boost his resume and finances...which makes sense and cant blame him......and cotto doesnt wanna let him...cotto is already conceding and i think most people would concede ggg blows him out.......ggg knows cotto is ripe....but when cotto sees someone whos ripe hes a bum who cherrypicks.....when pac takes a title at 154 hes a hero and record breaker....but when cotto does it he must fight the top dog at 160 or hes a puss

 

im not afraid of cotto fighting ggg...im not a diehard/rabid cotto fan...but i have respect for him...him fighting ggg doesnt bother my life one bit...hes not my father, brother or son....could care less......its just....he shouldnt be called names and be held to a ridiculous standard...hes given alot to the sport...a fight with ggg proves nothing if ggg wins......its so pointless and you all know that....yet you still want it....i just want to know whats at the root of wanting cotto to get beat up?

im a white male from rhode island...lol...im not puerto rican or some diehard cotto fan...i could care less if he gets mushed by ggg...it doesnt hurt my life at all......i just dont get what it proves...it proves nothing....id respect ggg alot more if he were able to land a few other fights and won them than i would for him beating up an aged welter weight
